Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The sun was bright and high. A sigh leaving my muzzle as I waited for something to happen. I’ve already told a bit of my life to Rogue and still, I have no clue as to why I am here. She could just have invited me here, I would come gladly and tell everything she wanted to know. Telling another wolf about myself is not a problem at all, my story is not anything that can be used against me for I never did anything wrong. Whatever. At least I know now that these wolves here know Paldor. It’s not been a complete waste of time coming here. If I can find out how or where he is, I would just consider this a great find.

Now she left me here wondering. She could just have told me how she knew Paldor. My head resting against my paws as I thought. Perhaps they’ll just kill me. What a perfect way to honor my father. The tale of Attu, the wolf who wanted to be an alpha and died as an omega. What can I do… If they try to kill me, they won’t without me taking the life of at least one wolf here. I might die, but I will take someone with me. It was the last thing I wanted. But if they force me to, I will have no choice.

My ears twitched as I heard paws against the ground. I raised my head to look in the sound’s direction. My gaze fell upon the form of an ivory wolf, one with purple eyes. His tail high told me that he had a high rank and his scent told me he was the alpha before he told me. He was kind enough to greet me with a nice phrase.

-Not the best, but still beautiful anyway…- I smiled.

He is not truly what I expected. But who am I to judge him. I’m the big guy built in every way for strength, but the last to harm another. With a small smile on my face I nodded to his words. Truly, such popularity is unexpected.

- I’m not sure how much she told you, so I’ll just tell you briefly. My home lands are very far from here, I’ve been traveling in search of a place to stay, somewhere to settle. My lands had been completely destroyed by a fire storm. There was a wolf in our pack who claimed to have especial powers, the ability to see what was going to happen before it did. But not all the things he told us became true. I believed he used his abilities to get a higher rank. I didn’t care if it was true or not as long as we lived safe and peaceful. One day he claimed to have a especial vision, saying he saw fire dropping from the sky like rain. I would have believed and told the alpha, but there was something strange. He told only a few wolves, ones he truly cared for and then left the pack. One of the wolves he told, spoke to me and told me everything, but I thought it was a lie… The fire came and consumed our lands faster than we could run. Well, at least most of us. Paldor was the name of that wolf. I remember him clearly. Fur as white as the most pure clouds and matching eyes

I told him, pausing a moment.

- I never saw him again after that day.

There it was, I told him everything. What was the use of such information for him, I have no idea.
