Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Interesting, he could not help but think, as the male's gaze lowered, trailing down and away from his own. He could not help but cock a brow and glance to Rogue as if she had some sort of answer for it - honestly, he was not so... used to such submission. Despite the fact that the wolves of Glorall seemed to hold him in a relatively high esteem, he hadn't really ever been submitted to. Not even Caligula, his own mate, had ever made it known, and even his own children refused to roll belly up so this... this was new. He could hardly complain, though. What kind of Alpha didn't like a bit of an ego trip every so often?

"No need for so many formalities, Ieron. It is most fine to call me by name. I suppose I should introduce myself in saying so; I am Tesseract, Alpha of Glorall and mate to its Queen, Caligula. A pleasure to meet you."

He dipped his muzzle in a minute bow before glancing back to Rogue, the slightest hint of a smile gracing his features. An interesting find, indeed. Only when the male spoke again did his attention return, the violet of his eyes sliding back to meet the male's momentarily. If he would have him? Though the answer was straightforward enough, he mused over it silently for some time, feigning thought as he considered the older male. Though his age was visible, it seemed to do little more than speckle him with the faintest of grey hairs - he stood proudly enough, and held a keen eye like those of a hawk. Behind the brown of them, there lurked an intelligence much like that of Rogue's or his own - an intelligence that could, surely, fast turn dangerous. He liked that already.

"For now, I trust Rogue's judgement of you. I offer you refuge here as a wolf of Glorall. There is much we can teach you, not just of these lands either."

He paused, raising a brow once more as he rested on the male with a broader, kinder smile. Now to begin the little details, the one's that would prove the male once and for all - what were his ambitions like? Or was he content to be fodder, just another wolf in a pack?

"I must ask, of course - what was it that you did in your previous pack? What can you bring to us?"
