Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

"so where's your pleasure now? it's not so pleasing when you are the one at the end of this misery. oh but it is for me, to sit and watch you bleed. so say your final prayer, but i'll promise you,
god can't show you where to hide

The scratching of Stella's dulled claws betrayed her position and yet no matter how hard the other girl strained her eyes, she could not see the dark beast within the cloak of midnight. This little fact pleased Stella so, knowing that she could approach the pup as if nearly invisible. Yet she would not act upon these dark thoughts, no matter how much her devils begged and protested. This girl had done no wrong - she had not run in fear, nor opposed her presence. Such a naive and endearing little creature, hm?

The young one's bright yellow eyes remained on Stella, as she continued to walk slowly up the incline of the crags, she could feel them on her. But it was her response that had the imposing creature halt, one ear flicking back. What others say is of little consequence. A slight chuckle sounded from her vocals before she spoke. "Would you not listen when your mother warns you against the possibility of something dangerous?" Her dark figure turns now so that she may see the bright one in full view, her gold speckled eyes watching her as a hawk may spy on its potential meal. She is small, young, and weak. Her view of the world is skewed in some odd manner; but perhaps she is just unafraid of what consequences may come from being alone at night.

"Did you know that a child-eater stalks this land?" She questions, her voice rising slightly in pitch as she continues to watch the girl, completely disregarding her interest in knowing Stella's identity. "Mm, yes, he finds the weak and unattended - much like yourself - and devours them for a late night snack. So tell me.. why is that you're bold enough to be alone on this night?" Those devils start their noise again, their howls and growls of enjoyment at her taunting ringing through her mind. But they do not stop when she silences, their antics beginning to wear her patience thin as they plead once more for her to bring some blood to the scene. She growls deeply, nearly unheard by the other from the distance between them. The ravine-born beast could not keep this up for all of eternity; she would go completely insane one day, that was for certain. Her eyes avert from the pale girl so that she may try to distract herself and it is at that moment that she hears the splashing of a waterfall nearby. She pivots away from the other so that she can redirect herself, keeping herself moving that her mind does not have time to idle on the desire for violence. "If you are curious enough to know who I am, keep up." She spoke gruffly as she continued forward, her head held nearly even with her spine as she fought off the torture within her skull.

Her path lead down a steep slope, her paws sliding against the small rubble as she descended towards the running water. It was a relief to have the sound of the water crashing to break up the silence around them, the voices always seemed loudest when all was quiet. "Who are your parents." It was more of a demand rather than a question as she stepped into the small pool of water, allowing the freezing temperature of it to bite into her skin and allow her some relief.
