aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

The eboness never allowed her suns to leave his form, betrayal her distrust of him. She seemed to be more at ease when she reached the one named Leila, and they conversed about the ongoings of the pack. Leila sat when he approached, but Chenzii - for that was her name he soon found out - stood tense and ready for anything. Aindreas found it almost comical - his motions were smooth and motionless and one of the things he prided himself upon was his grace and speed. If he were a danger, he would have flown past her - already he had snuck into the territory undiscovered. In fact, Aurora Borealis was quieter than he had expected it to be. In its quiescent state, he had seen naught of a single lupine upon his travels until now. But luckily for them, he was no threat.

Leila addressed his scream of pain and Chenzii seemed to soften. When Aindreas mentioned his relationship to the Alpha of these lands, Chenzii had looked surprised. Kalgalath's son... Leila's voice was quiet and the ess was clearly distant, but he didn't interrupt her or call her back. She returned to the present on her own. Yes. Your eyes - it makes perfect sense! Though I wasn't aware he had an older son... I see that you've gotten his good looks too, how lucky. Aindreas, unbeknownst to the two femmes, had spent most of his life, including the awkward teenage years, along and without the guiding paw of a parent figure. His knowledge of social cues, especially 'flirting' were sparse if existent at all, and so he took her words at face value. "My orb color is shared between my parents. My size and musculature is indeed from Kalgalath, but you are mistaken. My coat comes from my mother." He fell silent once more, leaving the remnants of his deep voice to echo over the surface of the hardened lake. His stoic face broke slightly, a single brow raising as Leila's maw released waves of giggles, but it quickly returned so that he showed no emotions. He lowered his gaze to his paws, and looked himself over, searching for the cause of her entertainment but could find none. "As for the relationship, it was not known to many, not even to he nor myself until fairly recently. My mother abandoned him before the birth of myself and my sibling and then proceeded to abandon me. The truth is finally know, though not widely."

When he lowered his bodice into a bow of greeting, Chenzii looked even more surprised than she had previously. Knowing his relationship to Kalgalath, Chenzii finally relaxed completely and addressed him, introducing herself. It is a pleasure to meet you Aindreas. I am not surprised to ehar you are Kalgalath's kin. I am sorry for my hostility before, I did not know of your rights here. Once more, the snowed titan merely shrugged - he took no offense. She had been in the right to question his motives - he was a stranger in lands that were not his own, and to top it off he held the scent of another pack. There was no err in judgment nor a fault to her actions. Leila began to speak to him and the brute shifted his arctics to lay upon the ess, gazing into her orange orbs. She said it was also nice to meet him and lackadaisically bowed to him, and then addressed the question he knew would come up. So, what pack do you come from if you don't mind me asking?

A morose chuckle was pulled from his lips and his arctic flashed dangerous up at the two femmes. "Isn't that the question..." His words released from his maw without his knowledge, hardly more than a whisper. There was no way for him to simply answer the question. His sister had challenged Serris for the pack but had lost, so the question now was if he would stay within Munashii Gekko's borders. She would not, clearly, but would he? He did not want to leave her particularly, and Serris had been absent more than he had been present. It was not the home he had thought it would be. Serris had turned out not to be the Alpha he had thought he was. But the fae had asked a question, and manners deemed that he need answer it out of necessity. " My body currently belongs to Serris and his territory of Munashii Gekko. Whether it will is yet to be seen. Should my heart ever be resurrected from its death and depth of dispair, it belongs to naught and no one. My loyalty is to my family, but has faded in its regard to Serris, and it may soon look for another master. Is my answer sufficient?" There was not a hint of malice nor loathing nor longing. These were the bare skeleton of facts laid out openly. How strange he must seem, how hard and cold, naught more than the husk of a warrior, a robot wired to obey and to tell the truth, never to deceive nor hide.
