It had been sometime since his hunt with the small girl his age, and though he had never known her name or where exactly she came from, Emry would not be forgetting soon. Instead of taking their catch all the way back to whereverthehellitwas she came from, they had divvied up their portions and parted ways with no much as a second glance. Since then, he had not seen sight or her or caught a whiff of scent. And that said a lot- seeing as the two year old had traversed every single pack border with nothing to show. It wasn't that he actually wanted to find her for any real reason, no. He just wanted to see whom might have raised her to be such an.. interesting spitfire.
But these thoughts had had been driven completely out of mind, most recently. A tremor as he had never felt before began beneath paw, only to violently increase until his entire balance was thrown off. Emry was quite unfamiliar with the phenomenon of an earthquake, and thus his usually somewhat intelligent brain simply had him rooted to the spot until the movement passed. But there was something different in the air, then, something new, something undiscovered. With a curiosity only young minds can have, the boy is quick to follow this new feeling, and plethora of new scents, past the crags and upon the unkonwn.
What he finds has his deep, molten gold irises flecked with the most vivid crimson slowly sweeping the area, a minute moment of hesitation before his rather large paws continue to push him forward. The boy was only half grown at this point, but he was still growing day by day. He towered among most wolves his age, and this he held pride in. But the entrance to what seemed to be a cave gaped empty and dark at him, and though it might not have been a good idea for one his size- he was not quite fully there yet and figured he might as well take advantage of his situation. Ducking down slightly, Emry is cautiously making sure of every step before allowing the full weight of his body. To take a tumble into the dark unknown would not be a good thing, and though the light filtered in just barely by the cracks above, it was dank and dark in here. Anything could be lurking here in the shadows, but he was confident in himself. He could take on the world, after all.
