There was no time to think about whatever ulterior motives her father might have had for them - she was focused on two things already! One, she had to make sure she made a good impression on not only her father but Sinclair too and secondly, she wanted to be sure that Sinclair was at least having some fun! Besides, it wasn't too different to what they usually did, right? Well, this time they actually had to nip and use their teeth but... that wasn't too much of a change, right? Really, she just didn't want Sinclair to think she was some flimsy girl that couldn't stand up for herself. She hated that assumption and she felt like she had to constantly fight against it. Her mother was strong, so she would be too! Even stronger if she had to be!

Of course, even those thoughts managed to distract her somewhat - she'd need to learn to curb her own mind if she wanted to succeed. Right now, though, it had cost her the position of power. As she tried to bare down on him, he suddenly ducked back and twisted away. The sudden removal of him from beneath her made her land with a heavy thud, her legs buckling beneath her and throwing her off guard. For a moment, she was totally bewildered, wide eyed and confused as to why he had done it - then, it struck her quite literally.

From beneath, she felt him, pulling her along with him and twisting her onto her back. Again, she landed with a thud, a gruff bark escaping her mouth as she instantly began to squirm. Instinctively, she straightened her legs, aiming to put her paws onto his cheeks and push up, keeping his jaws as far away from her as possible. Still, he was heavier than she already and even the slight weight difference made her job all the harder. She frowned, growling shrilly as she kicked out and up, trying to wiggling out from beneath him. Of course, it wouldn't work unless she gave him a damn good reason to let go!

With a huff, she arched her neck forward, trying to grab his muzzle firmly just like her father did when he wanted to prove his rank. If she could grab a hold, she'd only hold it firmly - she wasn't going to hurt him! - but she hoped it was enough to get him to back off. The one downfall was that it strained her neck and she could only hold such a position for so long before she retracted, snapping out at him idly. She had to keep his teeth away from her! Even in her inexperience, she knew too much of her was exposed when she was belly up - that's why lower ranked wolves submitted like that!

If that didn't work, then she'd try for a leg. It didn't take much effort to roll slightly and aim for his front right paw, nipping and chewing at it. If she could get him to lift it up, she might just be able to roll out from beneath him. If not.. then she might be the one to lose.
