Meryl wasn’t sure what to do. For starts he had mistaken her as Yin and it seemed like Ceal had indeed noticed. How could he ever forget her name, she was his friend and a little more he thought at times, but it was just he had never expected to see her here again. Meryl was convinced she was upset and didn’t want anything more to do with him after their whole fiasco with Daenerys and her and him and it was just so confusing. He knew he had hurt her, he didn’t mean too and if he had a choice in the matter it never would have happened. If he had known he would have avoided her forever. The boy clacked his maw shut as she walked forward pressing his maw closed. She seemed to be back to normal he supposed, or at least acting as if he had never imprinted on Daenerys. That made him feel better he guessed but still he wasn’t quite sure what to think of all of this. Was everything okay then? Was she not upset?
”No, no, Ceal everything is okay I was just surprised to see you. Not that that’s a bad thing! I’m happy to see you its just… well… you know.” He trailed off a little awkwardly still wondering if or when Yin would appear with whatever it was that she found. Had Ceal come to perhaps ask him about his relationship or lack thereof with her sister Daenerys? Was she upset that perhaps things did not work out or was it because of that that she was back here? He thought to much and the whole idea made his brain hurt. Things with Yin were, well confusing, much like how they had been with Ceal they were sort of together yet they weren’t cause he was so afraid to say it. He wouldn’t have left Ceal for Daenerys, he wouldn’t have it wasn’t right, yet Ceal had vanished and then it suddenly came up her smile wiped off her face and her voice soft and visage sad.
He wanted to say something but couldn’t find his voice remaining silent as she explained she went on a mission dictated by Moon Glow. He wished she would have said something, though still this mission seemed to be catalyzed by their now broken relationship. He felt guilty for going so far as to drive her from the very lands she called home to find herself. She was Ceal there was nothing wrong with her, nothing to find and he somehow made her lose herself. He felt immensely guilty and his ears fell back. Even though she had found herself he still felt bad that she had to leave in the first place.
”I have been, uh.. busy I suppose. Diveen has been under a siege of challenges and I been having to patch up my Aunt and Uncle.” He said softly still not sure what to do or say. Her bringing up Danny did not make him any less tense, ”I would hope she would be, I know I would be excited if my brother or sister came back after a long trip.” The boy said his tail giving a flick. It was then it seemed the truth of the situation came out, she was seeking forgiveness not simply idle chatter. Why forgiveness when clearly it was him who had done wrong.
There is nothing to get in between when it comes to Daenerys and I. Don’t worry about it, Ceal. We are still friends nothing would have changed that.” He said softly his brown and sky flecked gaze finally returning to the white and pink eyed girl that was so much like his new friend. For the moment though he didn’t worry about Yin coming just having Ceal understand she didn’t have to go even if maybe it did all work out for the best this way.
