To be made a father once more had been a true joy to Alcide. He cared deeply for his newest daughters, sharing a most special place in his heart. Perhaps he had never been the best father that any of his children had needed, but he had always tried his best. He felt so blessed to have such a family as his. Strong sons named Sleekwing, Taliesin, even his lost boy Swallowbane. Daughters of such beauty and grace called Orca, Ceal, Daenerys, Idunn, and Haven. And of course the greatest love of his life, she who encompassed his heart entirely both individually and through each aforementioned child. MoonGlow. The light of his life. His moon and stars and the luminosity that guided him through his life. Their connection was impenetrable, remaining steadfast through all the trials that life had thrown at them, whether it be the sky falling or battles waging around them. They had always found their way back to one another. It was this bond that had notified him through instinct alone that MoonGlow was injured and fading fast. Alcide turned away from their beautiful young daughters and fled the den. He could smell Taliesin nearby and knew he could be trusted to protect the youth if their father were unable to return to them. The scent of her blood flooded his nostrils and sent a terrible fear through Alcide’s heart. He could feel her spirit fading fast. And the part of him that was entwined with her began to fade as well. To live without her was an impossibility, something he could not, would not do. As he came upon the scene of her collapsed form, he barely took a moment to take stock of her injuries. They did not matter. There was no time, no medicine that could save her. And he knew that. Weakness gripped him as he drew closer walking to her side. Gently he pressed his nose to Taliesin’s shoulder. “Thank you, my son.” It was a show of appreciation for everything the young man had done, and would do. Alcide had always held a special place in his heart for the boy, having taken him under his wing and taught him as much as he could. He moved them and laid down, wrapping his form around MoonGlows and resting his head next to hers. He edged his paws beneath her head and buried his nose in the matted fur of her neck. Her blood soaked into his pelt, but he knew he could not staunch the bleeding. Orba flitted at the edge of his vision, and he was glad for the bird’s presence. For some time now he knew MoonGlow had been losing her connection to the spirit world, to her shamaness life. He knew that that was his fault. But Orba had never left her. And he took comfort in knowing that perhaps Orba would guide them on their next great journey. A journey on which they would never know separation again, and they could idly watch over the growth of their beautiful children from afar. Taking a deep breath, he whispered to her, “I am here, my love. And we will never be apart again.” He lifted his head and released one long, mournful howl. He called out to each and every one of them. Their whole family. Perhaps they would not reach them in time, but he wished to lay his eyes upon their beautiful family in its entirety – or as close to it as they could come - one last time. For this journey that he knew MoonGlow was so close to stepping towards, she would not travel alone. Alcide was ready, he would follow her into the dark.  |

Astarael - The Weeper: The commander and lead warrior of the pack. Charged with teaching the Berserkers the art of battle. Clayr - The Seer: Charged with the pack's health, and in teaching the Shiners and those who wish to pursue the art of healing. Kibeth - The Walker: The leader of the Guard. They are the foremost line of defense, charged with securing the borders and bringing pertinent information from within and without the pack to the appropriate wolf. They also lead the Outriders. Ranna - The Sleeper: Assists the queen in guarding from theft as well as advising her of news and gossip from the whole of Moladion. Charged with teaching the Mages about theft, secret keeping, and overall sneakiness. Allowed to make and block steals. Mosrael - The Waker: Caretaker and storyteller of the pack, also the head pupsitter. Often times this wolf will look after the pack's youth and educate them of Spirane and Moladion's history. Leads the Remembrancers in pup watching. Charter - The Power: The master hunter of the pack. Leads and organizes all hunts and teaches the Falconers the art of the hunt. The Classes Berserkers: Warriors and hunters of the pack. Falconers: The pack hunters Mages: Thieves and secret keepers of the pack. Allowed to make and block steals. Ambassadors: Diplomats of the pack. Shiners: Healers of the pack. Outriders: The pack scouts who bring all news of happenings across Moladion back. Remembrancers: Wolves of a kind nature who look after the younger wolves of the pack. These wolves may wish to learn more about healing, but this is not a requirement.
