Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Why, might I ask, do ridiculous things occur on my patrol? Ava never gets wet, Malina never comes home bitten by lunatic members of Iromar, Ezio and Kirizia seem positively pleasant when they return and yet each time I am sent to patrol the free lands it damn well runs…or apparently catches on fire. It was the glow of the light from the fire that brought my white form forward, long limbs loping with ease into the depths of the forest before the scent of smoke became thick and pungent in the air and the violet blue of my gaze set upon the faint glow. Typical. I’m on patrol and they unleash Armageddon. I guarantee you Heyel never put up with this ridiculousness. For a moment I turned my gaze skyward, half willing to ask whatever the hell gods that existed above whether or not they felt amused. As It was I simply increased my pace, ears flattening against the rain as the water rolled from the thickness of my pelt, seeking to soak my skin. Hmm, it almost reminded me of the night Devil and I sought Amissus, his death had hardly been the quick thing we had desired, the old wolf putting up far more of a fight then I believe either of us had expected. I snorted, shaking the rain from my otherwise glorious features as the scent of others managed to permeate, long limbs reaching further, muscles bunching as I leapt up and over a boulder, pass slipping and scraping amongst the damp leaves as I landed, running onward and towards the sounds of…thumping?

The white of my pelt lit with each flash of lightning as I moved to come to a halt, limbs easing back t a walk at the sight of wolf after wolf….running into a flaming tree. For years Heyel had been telling my loners were inbred and for years I had been only half believing. I do believe I know have my proof, eyes widening in slight surprise at the sight of Enderly attempting….what…known down the tree? What the hell for? I simply continued to stare, angel mark aglow like the embers of the fire itself as the rain hammered down and another male begun to dig at the base of the tree. Really, I am half inclined to just walk away, then again, I am also sure that if it should happen to get back to my Dear sister that an Angel of Diveen walked away from a forest fire we would have a rather exceptional scandal on our hands. I sighed, eyes rolling before I moved to wander forward, adding my size and power to the efforts of the male whom was digging, white paws easily ripping chunks of earth aside, large, powerful shoulders making short work of the wet earth, further loosening the tree we were evidently attempting to murder, one eye lifting briefly to Enderly, offering a momentary nod of sorts, seems an appropriate greeting, before returning to the task at hand. There. Now no one can say Diveen turned away. The things we do for love.
