Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Little Sciathan was so eager to learn and to experience the world around him. She smiles to think that he will do well in the years to come. There is no worry and she is honored that his mother trusts her to keep an eye on him. They had never been on bad terms after all. she was a brilliant girl and willing to learn herself. There is a great determination within her. She does not know what will happen but they are here to hopefully fix the errors that had found their way across the packs. To hopefully set back into place the alliances that had been lost when Purge had taken her brief reign over them.

It had been a long enough one though; this did worry her a little. How would they be perceived? Though not directly had Purge killed both their alphas, she had been the cause of at least one. She said she had never meant to kill their leader, but words were merely that. They saw the evidence of wounds and with her fall, Alcide had gone too. His heart had broken and his will to live had shattered. Two had fallen to the paws of Purge in one way or another. There would not be a third. They had to make sure of this of course.

They are approached by one similar in age to she who remained behind what appeared to be the leader. The larger male stands a little distance from Scia and she. Mis-matched eyes take the pair in and one can only imagine that this must be his daughter. She is witnessing what is going on as much as Sciathan is. Perhaps she is as willing and eager to learn as he? Lavender does not doubt it for a moment. Attention does shift from the girl though and back onto the Alpha Male of Glorall. Her bright eyes study him curiously and with a gentle shimmer. There's a smile on her lips as he inquires of who had sent them and she almost chuckles.

There had been nothing in the way of alliances really in Purge's reign. Only silence of course and that was no way to lead a pack. Friends were what you needed and not solitude. You were left in the cold with solitude. Perhaps Iromar had a pact with them, she doesn't know where that stands now. Snowshoe would be handling that after all and with Niviaq more than likely. The younger generations need not tangle themselves into that aspect of things. It was too dangerous the she-wolf had promised them. She would not send them into something that she was uncertain of herself so boldly.

"Hello there and thank you sir. I am Lavender and this is Sciathan, Snowshoe and Meltdown's son." One of them anyway. They had a sister too and she had never spoken. The girl still knew how to make herself known though and it always did make Lavender smile and giggle at the young girl's actions. Bubbly in her nature though; she had complications to never being able to speak. Attentions returned though; to the present moments they were sharing with the wolf and his daughter. "No sir! A new reign has found way to the Mountain pack again. A rightful reign as far as we are concerned. Snowshoe has taken the pack as her own and has sent us in hopes that we can amend the ties we've lost." It was with a heavy heart that they all still wore after all. Lavender among them. Emotions were raw but they could still be strong in this time of need. They must after all.

"She wishes that we amend our friendships with Spirane and Glorall and hopes that you will not hold it against us that we endured such a reign as Purge's own. We were no more enticed by what has happened than others have been I am sure." She glances briefly to the younger female and then to the little guy beside her. Her smile is genuine as she returns her attention to the man before them. "We must after all, look to our youngest generations and assure that they remain safe. It is no place for a pack to call their own solitude in my opinion sir. It is only a fool's path that one remain quiet. That should never have happened and we apologize for our silence. We would like you to know that you are welcome among our own to check out for yourselves that change has occurred and that one of our own has indeed found way to leading the mountain pack."

Perhaps it was a lot to say but she felt that it had been needed. They perhaps had a lot of uncertainty to make up for after all.
