Akuji

True beauty is something that attacks, overpowers, robs, and finally destroys.

Please, Akuji, just Georgie is fine. Akuji blinked rapidly, a small smile dancing upon his lips and he glanced away, as if embarrassed at hearing the sound of her name. In truth, he was impressed with his own skills. It had been a long time since he had had the reason or want to woo a femme, but apparently he was not rusty in the slightest. Already he had softened the ess kalak to get her to feel comfortablable enough with him to allow Akuji to call her by solely her first name. Perhaps this mission would be easier than he first thought, perhaps more enjoyable as well. “If you insist. Thank you for the kindness of familiarity.” She already enjoyed his company, clearly. And with his proposition of lunch, how could she resist him? Well that would be very kind of you sir. Her vocals were playful, young, charismatic. Flirtatious. The brute dipped his head to her, and then leisurely strode into the river, each step deliberately slow and steady. So slow, in fact, that the motion of his paws entering the water hardly made ripples at all. As he stood in the still fluid, he watched the fish swimming around his paws, his brown orbs following their motions. River trout were not nearly as large as lake trout, but catch a few of them, and they made a good meal. He took his time, he waited until the silt at the bottom of the river settled so that there was no telltale signs of his presence.

Slowly lifting his paw, daggers exposed, he impaled a larger sized trout, swiping it out of the water and sent it flying to the shore, landing at the ess’ feet. One would not be enough for the two of them however, so he continued to occasionally swipe the prey from their watery habitat, his daggers fatal wounds to them. As she spoke to him, he continued to hunt. Where I’ve come from? Hmm… well it’s very far – I wouldn’t be able to find my way back if I tried, I think. It’s a tad warmer where I come from, now I’ve got all this extra fluff. Akuji swiped a final fish out to round out the meal and then raised his eyes from the ground, smiling at her. “Miss… err, I mean Georgie, I see no extra fluff upon you.” He peered up at her from underneath his long lashes shyly. “You may just be the most beautiful lady I have ever seen.” This time, his words were quiet and hushed, as if telling a most intimate secret, but as soon as he spoke them he turned away from her, lifting the fish off of the ground and placing three of the six trout in front of her before backing away from her to a respectable distance.

His eyes now stayed glued upon his fish, hesitating before eating them. But then once more her words reached his auds. Nothing special really though, Akuji. Just a grassland far, far away from here. So many charming phrases crossed his mind, but he was no amateur. Laying on compliments thick was overkill and would be clearly suspicious, so he went about a different route. “Do you miss home? Your family? Or perhaps a better question is, why did you leave? Were you like me in and of that you wanted to lead your own path? I do hope nothing ill fated happened to you, Georgie.” Briefly, his pools laid upon the ess, long enough for him to flash her a smile. “I hope you enjoy the fish…” And then his incisors were in the fish, peeling back the scaly skin and digging out the tender flesh that lay underneath it. As he ate it, his mind flickered upon his mission. He had thought it would take a long while to woo her, but perhaps it wouldn't. Akuji almost thought, almost wished for it to take longer so that he would be longer distracted from his feelings for his Queen...
