Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Maradona was busy. Sinclair was busy. Father and mother were busy. Hell, even Rogue was busy because her mate had moved in and become as round as an elk. What did that leave Cersei with? Not a whole lot. Sure, she had to go to Taviora soon but she wanted to wait for Sinclair to return so that he could go with her. Of course, he wouldn't get to stay - she was going to learn! - but his cousin was there and family was important. Father had always been insistant that family was of utmost importance, and as the pack grew, that meant more and more became part of her extended family - still, blood was even more important. Sinclair would probably benefit from seeing Solaris and, well, admittedly... Cersei wanted to see him too.

She wasn't getting lonely, simply bored. On the cusp of adulthood and she still had so much pent up energy. No matter how hard she tried, she could not expend it all in any given day. She spent much of the day patrolling and most of the night, only clambering into her den periodically for short bursts of sleep before waking. With the sun, she too rose once more, this time greeting the face of a new day rather than the face of the moon. With Sinclair in Diveen, she had little keep her occupied and immediately began her march to the beach where she would search for a morsel to eat. Winter had silenced many of the birds and she had noticed less sea life on the sands, too, but with spring so close... she could not help but grow hungry for so many missed delicacies. It was simple luck that she found something else.

She had begun to move across the sounds at a fast jog, scouring up and down the shoreline with both eyes and nose. It was when she cast her gaze wearily towards the mainland that she caught movement, a pale form situated not too far from the sands. For a moment, she stood and narrowed her eyes in an attempt to better make out the details, details which soon confirmed for her what she had first thought: her sister! Despite it all, she had never gotten a chance to truly spend time with her younger siblings. The prospect excited her, her tail waving cheerfully over her back as she dismissed her task and began to lope up the dunes.

"Sister!

She called out excitedly when she finally grew closer, coming to a halt in the sand not too far from where her smaller siblings lay. She seemed almost... bored, really, or so Cersei had been lead to believe. Grooming might have been essential, but it wasn't exactly exciting. She stared down with a tilted head before flopping onto her haunches, flashing a grin in an effort to at least appear... approachable.

"You're up early, sister. How did you manage to escape our brothers?"
