At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Darkness encompassed the young fae, as it usually and always did. Though this time, the vixen felt the light of the sun warm her pelt, and she sighed. Honestly, she had no idea where she was, even if she heard the soft twitter of a bird and the pungent scent of wet bark. Rain had arrived yesterday, and this was the first time the girl had ventured out of her den to warm the chilled bones in her body. She felt the light caress the edges of her features, sending a boiling warmth down into the pit of her stomach. It laced upwards to her legs and up to her face, her ears tingling with the sensation. Her other senses, besides eyesight, were stronger than she had ever imagined them to be. The ess could almost sculpt out what the area looked like with the burning sensation she got when she almost bumped into things. Since after the rain, the area had also been ideal in scenting which way was what. The vixen rose up, sending her legs down in a stretch, feeling the pull of muscles linger with the small pain of a stretch as she moved to her back legs. A yawn escaped her jaw, white ivories flashing in the bright sunlight. A pink tongue slithered over her muzzle, and the ess was on her way.

Mink was a wanderer, even if she belonged to a pack. Her legs burned with the gift of travelling, the eagerness inside of her flowing a river of desire that sped up with each step. She raised her front paws, setting them atop a fallen log she scented, her claws digging into the supple bark as she hoisted her bodice up and over. An audette flickered at the top of her head, the sun warming only specific places on her white pelt. Her paws, dipped in an obsidian ink that stained, lifted easily as she made her way through the forest. But soon, the peppery taste of the wood lingered as she kept walking, and the feeling of hard dirt below her paws spilled over as she took another step. The trees had ended, and Mink lifted her head to taste the air. Sharp needles flew up her nares, and she turned away. The scent of lake water was undeniable, and the fae found her paws sinking forward into the sand as she moved towards the liquid. It had probably only just melted, as summer was new and it water would need great heat to warm it up to a pleasurable temperature. Despite anything, Mink trotted over to the coastline and dipped her feet in the water, the battle of warmth echoing small traitorous words inside of her.

She smiled deeply, but raised her head, scenting that of another wolf, a fae, and hearing a soft voice twinge the air. The silence was gone, and the wolf was directly left of her. Had she asked “Who am I?”. Her head tilted, facing forward as she listening for another sound. But nothing came. She blinked, then turned her body in one motion. The other fae was still there, as by the scent never whispering away from the vixen’s senses. So she walked forward, her paws finding the warm sand again and she felt it start to climb up her legs. Mink imagined the girl in front of her turning her head, and maybe she did, and she sat down, ears twitching. “Hello.” Her voice was soft as it rang through the beach, and her head tilted down. It wasn’t like herself to start a conversation, but something inside her drove the words from her kissers. The frosty blue of her orbs gleamed in the sunlight, though she felt nothing of it. The light did nothing to awaken her eyes.
