The ebony ess's amber seers looked around the river again. I've been here for so long... She thought, crawling out of the dug out den. The moon shined in her eyes, just making them sparkle a bit more. She forced a smile on her face, turning onto the already made path to get to the river. Shimo soon was introduced by the river, it's cool waves splashing onto her pillars. Smiling, and chuckling a bit, which was something she never did, she let the water, and watched the fish swim by. Suddenly, her stomach growled, and Shimo decided she would have fish, once again. She watched, and dunked her head in, managing to catch a fish. But instead, it slipped out of her mouth, and then hit another wolf. She looked over. A male, finally. She thought, but spoke. "I'm so sorry." Shimo-Ariku said, walking over. The looks of his pelt entranced him, and she saw mud chunks sliding off him. Why would he cover his pelt, hm? She thought, stopping a foot or so away from him, careful not to splash him. She didn't want any more possible anger. "I'm Shimo-Ariku." She said, sitting down in the running water. "And you?" Her stature was stiff, more out of fear of being yelled at. When she was just a baby, she was yelled at a lot for doing the normal things a pup would do. Chase bugs, play rough with siblings, etc. This went on until she was a teenager, and instead of being yelled at, she was abused. Luckily, she managed to escape, and the scars were healing, hidden by the black fur of hers. Shimo pulled herself out of her thoughts, and noticed the brute had 2 different color eyes.
