Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Get all your things and Fly

He was waiting for the explosion, beneath the happy whines that he certainly hadn’t heard past the initial conception of their children. She certainly never acted that way when he was around, but it was at least obvious that she hadn’t purposefully left them alone. He almost felt guilty for taking them and perhaps would have been if he didn’t fear for his life. And did he feel justified in fearing for his life. Her love and the distraction their children had given him was short lived. Her face soon snapped up to him sending a chill down his spine and tail that felt like it settled into the bone. Then the expected explosion.

His whole form winced as she screamed at him his whole body shrinking down as she accused him of endangering their children when they were left alone in a pack where he knew they were no safer. Really, what did she expect someone just to come take care of them as meticulously as they would? Hardly. Still though he couldn’t fight back, despite the resolve he had when he had taken them away know when she would have returned she would be more vicious than a harpy he would not leave them alone.

Thankfully he didn’t really have to dignify all that yelling with a response. Not only had she succumbed to tears but it appeared as though Tuari and Yoska didn’t want no more of this. He watched as his daughter faced her mother ears back looking worried while, unexpected as it was his son let out a loud bark that reminded him of his screeching puppy days before he began shoving him towards her. Was he crazy!? He felt his small maw hold fast on to him pulling him towards that harpy that was his mother and probably wished with every fiber of her being to tear his heart out. Or something. He paused when he let go so that he was standing closer to her blinking before averting his gaze.

”They were scared… and alone… what did you want me to do? We tried waiting but I needed the familiar lands under my paws to care for them.” He barely whispered the words, ”I just did what I thought was best… as their father.” Perhaps Zeteri would understand, perhaps not, but he had to say something right? Clearly his children were expecting something of him and he was hoping to perhaps quell the fire that he might have accidentally started.
