Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Loyalty means nothing unless it has at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice

His touch frightened her, something that Kalgalath had never wanted to do. She jumped, then relaxed, before turning to look at him and confusion filled her orbs before a fountain of tears began to show and the ess glanced away, embarrassed. Kalgalth protectively pulled her to him, realizing then that Chenzii no doubt thought that it had been Chiron returned to her. It had been stupid of him to make such an intimate embrace with her so soon after she had lost her mate. That was when he loosed his words, soon after releasing her from the embracing and rising his form from the earth, a gentle shake removing the dirt from his pelt. His arctics peered at her, waiting to see if she would glance at him, but when she didn’t he continued his speech, addressing the words she herself had spoken earlier in the day at the pack meeting. Slowly, motion worked its way into her form, and she rose from the ground, stretching out her limbs. The Alpha was almost scared to ask the ess to do the task he had just set out for her, for she was still too thin, her pelt dry and cracking, not to mention covered in filth. She had clearly not been taking care of herself, and though he understood it, he worried for her nonetheless. “Stay here a moment, my friend.

Haunches rippling with muscles that were unapparent on the emaciated femme, he took off at a soft lope, his steps quiet and his frame holding low to the ground, nearly covered by the height of the blossoms and flowers that existed on the still living half of the field. Nares flaring to the ground, he inhaled deeply, tasting the colors of the wind until he came upon one he would consider prey and it was then that his pace slowed, each step becoming deliberate until finally his electric azures fell upon the hare he had tracked down. It stood up, ears erect, glancing around, but by the time it’s eyes fell upon the varg he was already upon it, teeth ripping out its jugular and windpipe before it could feel any pain. Grasping it by the neck, he once more picked up a lope and returned to the eboness, placing it at her feet. “Eat this before you go. You must carry on and before anything else, your health is what I care most about. First and foremost you are my friend… the loyalty that I demand from you and all others in my pack is returned from me to you.

Finally, she nodded. I… I’m… I’m sorry Kalgalath. I will be presentable and ready to travel to Moth soon, I promise. A soft smile fell upon Kal’s maw and he dipped his head to her, his vocals escaping once more, his deep voice quiet. “You are stronger than you know, Chenzii. You will find another, this time it will be one worthy of you.
