Wide teal eyes take in the surroundings of their beholder, cautiously scanning the foliage for anything out of place or amiss. It seemed like it had been awhile since she had been to this place, but in reality, Rhae knew it had not been so. Months had passed, but it had hardly been anything to the older female. But she knew that it probably meant a whole lot to three particular young wolves- her children, and perhaps to that of her other half. Her knight, as well as her light. Her everything wrapped all in one, in a small package she wouldn't exchange for the entire world. Her Iblis. With an unusually anxious gleam to her gaze she continued onward within the thicket, the familiar branches brushing along her thick and plush coat of earth. It was comforting, this place she had made as her home with the other half of her soul, as well as children. But they had known other places, Rhae knew, and undoubtedly would be well on their own at this point. Still, she wondered about them and how they were, and of course about Iblis. He was what had drawn her back to this place, in hopes of perhaps stumbling across him or catching at least a passing scent. She was hopeful as her pace slowed, her large muzzle lowering to the earth and nostrils working to drag in the scent upon the very soil. Thus far she had not caught any hint or chance, and though she was weary her hope remained true. Afterall, he couldn't be that far away, or so she was continuously telling herself. She would find him, and would not rest until she did. |
