I am enjoying the rocks while the sun beats down upon my tawny fur, the heat makes me pant like crazy but it helps to sooth my aches and pains, ever since the attack I'd stuck close to Riopats island. Taking great cares to keep food on paw and get better. Flies buzzed around my head looking to get a better landing patch on my shoulder where the wound was healing nicely. I did not blame the man for his actions but I would have thought I had the more emotional connection with Vega. It appeared thought as if I didn't. Strange. Strange also was the sound of thundering hooves and wolves shouting. Hooves? in Glorall? I think as I get to my feet and stretches the bulk that is me, I'm definetly ment more for aggressive strength attacks than speed, which worked out well this time as they came in out onto the beach, sand and paws flying every which way.
It was not the first time I'd run head long into some thing without thinking, a groan left my lips as I think of Riopat "she's gonna hate me for this later" I said to no one but myself as I picked up a fine lope towards the scene of the attacking beast. Judging from the angle and the supposed threats I position my body just so that I can make a leap to grab the beasts back end. My muscles bunch in my powerful legs as I square off with the beasts backend that is making it's way towards me. The turn it had taken to get to the young wolf makes me smile slightly as I release the pent up energy and let my body fly forwards. I clasp for what I can, aiming for the tender flesh inbetween leg and ribs. Hoping to wound it with a strong and vice like grip of my jaws.
Once I rip a bit I release my jaws and tuck my head to my chest pushing off with my back legs as the beast starts to get furious with the attacks and harassment that the wolves are giving it. Poor thing, if only it had just left it's calf without charging after the pup in the front of the whole thing, it would have been able to produce another calf and keep living. Unfortunately, I am super protective of pups, I get that from my dearest Miss Everchime. She had instilled it in me, being so big, that I should look out for those smaller than me no matter the cost it came to myself. Unlike the one Malina was it? I had no qualms about killing the beast it was on our packland and I was sure Diveen wouldn't find fault in it since it was chasing one of our pups.
"Keep harassing it ladies," I say in my deep voice. I had a plan for this cow and if the girls could keep up the harassment then I could possibly get in there to wound the crap out of it and hope to take it down with all of us involved in some form or another. "Tight circles, pups make as much noise as you can. Disorient it. Move in, bark a lot and then dash out. Their to stupid to do anything, I'll keep the horns on me." Yep, Riopat was gonna kill me if this thing didn't do it first. He took a step or two back, his eyes of bright orange looking at every possible weak point on the cow and deciding that once the others had turned it around enough he would leap for the head, biting down upon the soft flesh between the skull and the neck. He tensed up his muscles and leaped towards the head, his mouth open wide, paws held close to his body to stop the distance between bite and flesh.
