It had been too long- far too long. Twice she had stepped forward to prove herself to Andras, and twice she had failed. After the last incident, her furious mindset had taken her far and away from the land of Moladion. Precariously close to blind with rage she had savaged any and all things in her path- predator and prey alike. Nothing was safe from her jaws. But now, now the flame licked Demon was back and more determined than ever. But she would not go to Iromar- no, not just yet. She needed something to bring back. Or someone. Who, exactly, she had not yet decided. Her Yojimbo, her soul and dark star in the night was a plausible canidate- but what could Andras use with a wolf that claimed to know the stars? They already had a crazy wolf, and Paldor was more than enough. Perhaps A Diveen angel could be brought, willingly or not, and her Yoji was perhaps the best route to go to get just that. She just had to play her cards right. With a sanguine smile caressing her features, Vera is content to remain where she is. It is a medium opening in the face of the rock, one she scouted many moons ago and knew none other came to. It was well out of the way, where most without her agile swift feet would only dream to come. One false step and a soul could go tumbling into one of the many chasms that had opened up in the earth when the shake had happened. Who knew what lie in wait at the bottom, but the Demon did not care to figure out. No. What she cared to do was wait herself, because she knew he would come. He would have been able to feel her again the moment she had returned. And oh, how he had always loved to answer her call. |
