Pilar shook her head at Magnus’s excitement about the markings. While it was true that she had stumbled across them while exploring the caves Sylvia had showed her and Kasabian, she had not been able to ascertain any sort of meaning from them.
“No, I have no idea what they mean, but they’re very similar to the other ones,” the Marwari mare explained. “Perhaps you might have a better idea of what they could be saying? I can show you!”
Pilar turned and trotted forward a little, lifting her tail slightly with excitement as she looked back at her friend over her shoulder. But before Magnus would follow he asked her another question. Pilar tilted her head, a little confused.
“Oh, yes it is,” she replied, remembering that Magnus was not exactly known for his memory or his attention span. Oddly enough, this was part of his charm. She grinned, nodding again. “And yes, for the most part the weather is nice. Nasty thunderstorms though. That’s actually how I found the markings in the first place.” She steered Magnus back toward the prospect of visiting the caves and tossed her head with playful impatience.
“Come on, let's go! I’ll show you!”
