Danny grinned at Thoth's comment about the nurses always thinking he was up to something. Though Sol had talked Danny into all manner of trouble in the past, everyone seemed to forget those moments. He was normally very responsible and had a healthy respect for authority, not to mention the fact he tackled tasks meant for much older individuals, so most just assumed if he was up and about he was doing something important or, at the very least, not getting himself into trouble. It was part of why Flynn let him do whatever he wanted, he supposed, although his eldest brother had been so busy lately it was unlikely he would have been worried even without the schedule Danny left on the kitchen table each morning.
"Oh, no," Danny said with a small shrug, clearly trying to look casual about Thoth's question. "It's just me and my brothers and sister, but Flynn won't be looking for me anytime soon. He's on duty tonight."
Thoth's attention returned to the task at hand, and so did Danny's. He gnawed his lip in thought, his eyes going a bit distant as he plotted out some things.
"I bet I could get one," he said after a few moments. "I'm authorized for most stuff, though Gupta usually likes to supervise injections..." He hesitated only a second longer, then nodded. "Yeah, I can get one. Sol-"
Danny turned to his familiar, about to ask him if he was ready to play lookout, when he saw Morveren and Sol still in the middle of playtime. Between his thick skin and thicker fur, Morveren's sharp claws - while he felt them - didn't leave much of a mark and certainly not enough of one to get the big cat flustered. He rolled with it, using his tail as a lure by flicking it about in every direction. Each time she pounced for it he'd move it just out of reach, wiggling it tauntingly and waiting for her to pounce. At Danny's words, Sol glanced up, leaving his poor tail undefended.
