Antoinette wasn't exactly used to dealing with wolves who weren't used to the caves, due to the fact that she had spent much of her time in Moladion within their ebon depths. It wasn't exactly the most glamorous lifestyle, but it was home, at least for now. She had heard of the packs that inhabited these lands, and though she wouldn't dream of leaving the little family she had found, sometimes she wondered if those packs could hold something for her. She tended not to think about though, as it likely wouldn't happen for quite some time. Aside from that, it would be weird to be in a pack where she wasn't the alpha's daughter, with wolves at her beck and call whenever she needed them. It was quite a different life that she led now, and it had made a great deal more mature, though haughtiness did not escape her.
She rolled her eyes at his words, her tail giving an annoyed flick. "Imbécile! I was not yelling, I was just talking to myself." she said, narrowing her mismatched eyes at the form in the dark. She guessed that he was older than her, and quite a bit bigger, though most wolves tended to be a lot bigger than she was. "Perhaps it was you who was eavesdropping." Antoinette said with a snort. Of course she realized that was not the case, but she was definitely not in the wrong here! That honor went to the male standing in front of her.
Her face softened a bit as he introduced himself. It's not that she was being rude- okay, perhaps a little bit- but she was still a little used to having wolves practically bow down before her. Even though it had been a long time since that had happened, sometimes she still slipped into her old princess mentality.
"Tristan." she repeated, trying to make out his face in the dark so she could commit it to memory. Though it was a little hard to pick any discerning features out of the gloom of the cave. "My name is Antoinette." she said with a slight bow of her head.
"It's quite hard to have a decent conversation in these dark caves. What do you say we head outside where we can actually see each other?" she said, and though it was phrased as a suggestion she hardly gave him time to respond. She brushed past him, her tail running along his side as a sort of message to follow her. In the dark touch was a lot more important than usual. If he did not want to follow, so be it. But she wanted to get out and see the sun for a bit anyway.
