News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Death Makes Angels of Us All
IP: 71.96.195.217

death makes angels of us all and gives us wings
where we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws.

There are some things in this world that we cannot change. My Mother is my Mother. It does not matter how she has treated me, only that I am alive. If she really did not want me alive then I really wouldn’t be here? Maybe there is a part of Mother that cares even if it is just the instinctual need to keep me around….that does not bother me. As for Father he was the one that wanted me, but for some reason he left. Why he did I do not know, but at least Mother ensured that I would stay alive. She promised me as a member of Iromar. If Mother did not care for me then she wouldn’t have made the deal. This is what I think. At least this is what I try to think. I try not to think that Mother only gave me up just so she wouldn’t have to deal with me…it makes things…difficult. I have yet to speak to Father about why he abandoned me to, but I hope when I make it back to Iromar with my information about the mountain pack I shall finally have my answer. Maybe even some good news to give him that I had proven myself worthy. Maybe that will make him proud.

I cannot help, but notice the baffled look upon that angelic face of hers. I think I must have done something wrong? Maybe I wasn’t supposed to be this submissive. Or maybe…maybe I am being too showy. She might have found out my secret! She must know! She must know I am here to gather intel for my pack. Oh no! I am not so sure what I am supposed to do, but I know I am supposed to worry but….I do not feel nervous. Rather I feel at ease…at peace…I feel-nothing. My bright violet eyes simply stare back holding that glimmer of pure innocence. I have yet to be stained by anything so impure. I act cool, collected, as I wave my tail in a friendly gesture. As this…Natu stands and steps to the side, allowing me entrance, I stand up slowly a little bit anxious to move forward and over the lines. Tentatively I take a step forward, keeping my head low, as I step over the invisible line. Softly I mutter, one crimson trimmed ear twitched as I look up at her anxiously.

“Thank you very much, I appreciate it.”

As soon as my sleek ebony and crimson marked form enters the land that I have temporary access to I simply freeze for a moment. My soft ears fold back, a bit nervous, my muzzle tilted down as I inhaled a variety of scents. There are so many and yet I cannot single some of them out. Many had come to claim the area. One seems so very faint, but it seems like it has been here the longest. Two other scents smell very strong, but only one seems to be a bit more reverent. I remember hearing rumors that this land was ran by a female, a very old female, but she was killed by another. This is all I know and yet I feel like this needs to be clarified, but not just for me…but maybe for Andras too? I stop walking and simply stand there puzzled and confused. Tilting my head to the side I look back to the she-wolf that had yet to attack me. My voice break slightly from little use.

“I heard a female rules here, but the scent is many…it smells like…there were two, no three, but how can this be? One doesn’t smell like the Alpha anymore, but she is still here. What’s it like having a female leader instead of a male leader?”

I have always wondered what it was like to be led by a female. Does that mean females get more trust or more roles? Not that Andras provides no such thing, but still I cannot help but wonder. Perhaps then I can get the information that I need to settle the confusion that I have. My attention turns back to the beautiful landscape, once more the mountains taking my attention. One ear twitched to listen to her and as soon as she responds I cannot help, but speak up again this time with some eagerness.

“Do you have to go the mountains often, are they difficult to climb? They look very steep.”

I turn my head back to her, eyes widening as I realize something…I was being rude. Bowing my head and forcing myself to sit once more I simply mutter somberly.

“Oh…my manners…I apologize Natu, my Mother named me Raven.”
