News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

daenerys

There was something peculiar about Natu, something that perhaps when I was able to identify entirely I would find even further value in her presence upon the mountain. The whole situation with the young boy had challenged my perception of her, but in the aftermath of the boy’s birth mother’s discovery, he had remained. I had watched them from afar, and recognized the bond of familial ties between them. They were not of the same blood, as much of my own family was not of mine, but there was closeness between them. I’d not yet had the opportunity to speak with her on the matter, but perhaps the time to observe them from a distance had been good for me. I still wondered how the boy had come to be in her care, but it seemed as if she’d done a right job of it. Putting that situation aside, Natu had never given me reason to doubt her capability among the ranks. She’d proven herself a competent hunter, crafty thief, and now a bearer of secrets. Maybe it was not entirely a secret, but it was important news, and she had delivered it before any harm could come from it.

The tip of my tail flicked idly at my side as she continued her report. A single brow arched inquisitively as she spoke of the expression that had perhaps conveyed Fenrir’s pain at speaking of his son. If only he knew the pain he had caused his son in abandoning him. If it were not for Alcide, he never would have had a man in his life to look up to. But I held my tongue, finding that it was unimportant to impart such thoughts upon Natu. Instead, I simply nodded my head as she continued. Mention of Solevion did little to change my demeanor. Though the lands of old had given birth to my home, Old Moladion was a land I had never known. I did not recognize the name Ifrit from any of the tales of Old Moladion that had been imparted on me in my youth. I would remember the four names, however, and perhaps speak with Pan about them. If they supported Iblis and Asteraia, then perhaps they were a potential alliance I could not afford to ignore. Natu’s words and expression in reference to Ifrit caused me to lift both of my eyebrows slightly, in a show of interest.

I should like to know more about these four. They pique my interest. You will keep me informed?” Though I formed it as a question, it was more of a statement. If she would be my Spider, I would trust her to keep me informed on matters of import. Even so, I very well might seek them out myself after I was given the opportunity to discuss their histories with Pan. That wolf seemed to know everything there was to know about Moladion, old and new.

Once she had given me her answer, I let a moment of silence fall between us. My eyes remained studiously upon the shewolf before me, thinking about the roll she was coming into and how well she would fill it. If she was to be my secret keeper, however, I felt the need to know more about the secret she had kept for quite some time. “Tell me more about Sven.” It was a simple enough request, but perhaps a loaded one at that. I doubted that my inquiry would come as a surprise to her. I knew the how and why of every of my pack members arrival into Spirane. All but Sven’s. Today would be the end of that.

i have never been nothing.
