Why does she feel empty at the idea without him? As she watches him nod she almost whines at his easy acceptance though clenching teeth refrain her from voicing it. As he moves to the exit she is quick to his side, clinging to him for this moment before they separate to go through the tunnel. Burying her muzzle within his coat as she stills at his side, gently nipping at his shoulder as she smirks slightly. It a teasing and playful gesture one to hopefully cheer him up as well as her. As she takes his scent in one long drawn breath before making her way back the way they came.

The journey back is slow and almost painful, as she is never far from him; always in some form touching him as he guides her back through the caverns. She knows the abyss is ahead and she stills for a moment tugging slightly on his fur in order to get his attention as voice whispers in the dark. "Be safe." She voices her fears, despite the fact he had maneuvered them through it before. Now though, now she cares for him on a level she cannot explain and if he was to fall she would join him. It is a fact, a truth she will undoubtedly follow.

Refusing to move until he reassures her, the dim light playing with her eyes as she stares at him through her own. She needs his touch to confirm he will never fall. The silence around them playing in her mind as she smiles sadly at him, from the fear and from the separation that is soon at hand. But instead of waiting for him she is the one that pursues. Burying her body against his as his warmth wraps around her like a blanket of security. "I do not want to leave.." You. The unspoken word she fails to speak but shows in her eyes.

For this time with him has proved that she does indeed have some form of innocence left. And so far he is the only one who has accomplished such an impossible feat. Just for this she steps til she is side by side, her muzzle reaching to his face as her tongue meets his cheek. Grinning at him, as eyes burn in a slow flame. For this would not be the end, there would be no goodbyes; just see you later. For she will search through all of Moladion to find him again. As she now waits for him to safely guide her along the narrow path. To an end that is merely a beginning.
