News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

fourteen - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

It is different for her and Heyel than it had been for Fenrir. That all consuming need to be with the other by some foreign bond. Being in the company of her white counterpart was soothing. Relaxing in a way that she had not realized she had missed for some time for Heyel had become a friend to her. The one wolf she could spill her secrets to, her insecurities, and in his most egotistical way - not oddly not condescending - he would lay out plans and hopes for her. He would offer her comfort with his wry but wise words. Natu was no fool; she heeded his advice, though she sometimes did tend to gloss over his cocky way of thinking. Heyel was a fine male to be sure and she had been heart sore in the beginning when she found him for fate had left her so empty handed and she had been gifted with this special bond only to find her imprint both insufferable and mated already. Yet fate does not do things in such a way that is planned in the minds of mortals. For Heyel had proved to be a most fastidious friend and she found she was glad of the way of things.

Fenrir has suffered much in his life but Natu would eventually find out he had caused some suffering too. It was not a thing she couldn't forgive for didn't she have her own sins to contend with? The ones that had weighed so heavily upon her soul until only this last season? Life had taken a sudden furious upswing and honestly Natu felt as if she were drowning at times in the way it changed. The rug was pulled out from under her many times. But in the presence of the moonlight, summer heat, fireflies, and Fenrir she felt a calm sense of being. A courage, a purpose, a confidence.

When the male admits to his own injuries Natu smiles, a brilliant smile, a reward for his honesty. Some males might think it a sign of weakness to admit to such injury - how the hell could an elk harm them? Natu saw it only as a positive sign. Friendships and relationships were not built on secrets or lies. Such complex webs as those could come tumbling down with the slightest vibration.

"I had an injury similar to that this past winter. Perhaps a visit to a healer would help ease some of the soreness." She states before flashing another smile at him. "It is only because I was overly cautious this time. A repeat of that same injury was not something I wished to repeat so soon."

She cocks her head as he speaks of Ifrit in his usual rather off-hand manner. To him the male is a counterpart to a life he has lived long. To her the male was insufferable and rude, among the few things in life that she could not tolerate. "Well I certainly hope she is amendable to his crude comments. It would be a shame if she might tear his muzzle off." There is a twinkle in her pale eyes - the moonlight through them makes them almost opalescent. When she grins it is with the wickedness of a thousand sinners and the innocence of an angel, such an alluring mix beneath the wide moon.

"It is not every day that my honor is protected by another. It is nice to be appreciated at times." Her lips are tight now with a smaller smile, the kind that is more genuine and heartfelt as she locks eyes with his pale ones. "I am glad you visited, Fenrir. Come, shall we sit in the meadow and learn more of the other?" Natu is almost shy in the asking but firm all the same, her tail wagging before she trots past him so that the tips of their fur ruffle against each other. Such bare contact creates a pounding in her chest and tingle in her legs. A sigh is released but she doesn't look back. Fenrir will follow her, of that she is certain, for why would he visit if he did not plan such talks?

The meadow is a break in the foothills of the mountains with wildflowers aplenty and bright stars dotting the sky in the millions and trillions. She finds a knoll in which to lay down on, her head turning just slightly towards Fenrir's direction. "Have you seen your son yet?" It is a sighing kind of question, no more pressing than the gentle night air against their skin, easy for him to turn away if he should desire though she hopes that he will share with her his story. Hopes that if this was the beginning of something that the beginning was as true as the end would be if she had her way.
