News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Aithne does not expect the Queen to just pop up in her vicinity. Each kingdom was much larger than one really thought. No doubt the mountain kingdom was full of hills and hidden crags that must be meandered before ones destination could be reached. Contrary to many beliefs of demon wolves - though the term was used loosely in reference to those of Iromar, royal blood or not - Aithne was a patient creature. Well, on certain occasions that was incorrect. When she was hungry, for instance, she could become quite irate. She was not usually hungry in the land of Molodian for it one knew where to look there was always life teeming somewhere. Easy meals for her - Aithne often liked easy. This mission was not easy though. It would have to be dealt with tact and a certain regard of pride and strength to come out on the good end. Andras expected it of her. Aithne expected it of herself. She was not one to disappoint.

When the silvered figure of Daenery's appears, long after her answering call has echoed across the mountains, Aithne's ears flick forward from where they had begun to shift. The sounds of the mountains seemed amplified. Much here was different than her home. The smells were richer and of a more healthy variety. Things did not often die here but remained in a state of hibernation during the lean months to begin regrowth once more. The marsh was a place of constant decay. The water churned and ate and stole the bones, flesh, and souls. Andras's bone and carcass throne were testament to that.

Aithne does not raise nor lower her tail for the Queen. She is not here to show her deference for she has come as a diplomat, an Archduke, for her King and as such should be afforded the dignity of an ambassador. Then again she does not try and usurp the power that Daenery's holds, merely acknowledging it with her relaxed posture and neutral expression.

Daenery's does not look displeased nor pleased to see her. That is a good sign at least, for it shows that a partnership between their countries could be beneficial. It seemed as if the mountains had dipped their paws in just about every side they could; Andras had not told her about Orca's visit, nor the outcome, so she was unaware of it. But he had given her the choice to decide which to visit, Glorall or Spirane, and she had chosen the harder of the two in her mind. Glorall already held family of Andras - not that she knew anything of their closeness or not - and that meant it might be easier for her to get such an alliance. Aithne sometimes strived on the more difficult things in life.

"Good day," Aithne reply's, her hoarse voice pleasant. "A bit of news and a bit of business you could say." The stirrings of a smile here as her emerald eyes assess the silver Queen. "I am Aithne, of Iromar as you have already ascertained. Andras has given me leave to seek your audience in hopes of an alliance equally beneficial to both of us. I know that your mountains are aligned with almost every other pack. A glorious position indeed, but why not add one more? One less to wonder over? In doing so we would both open our borders to the other for training. Warriors should know how to fight on both mountainside and marsh, don't you think? And healers should learn how to treat falls from your cliff sides and how to treat venom from the swamp snakes. There is much to be learned for both of our wolves if the option is open to you, Queen Daenerys." Of course Aithne knows her name, and her words are said with some skill.

"As for news... the Queen, Lillith, has passed away." Details would be for later - she wasn't sure sharing the fact that the Princess had killed her mother would be a good driving point in the middle of negotiations. Then again, she was anxious to learn of Siren's whereabouts. "Would any Iromar wolves happened to have visited recently?" Aithne lifts a brow, making the question noncommittal yet inside she wants to know, wants to know that Siren is safe and squared away, for she knows not how Andras will react.
