Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Nord

take these broken wings and learn to fly
The summer sun shone down upon the fields, the oppressive heat of the solar rays causing the thick-furred wolf to shift in discomfort. Though there was no shade here to protect him from the heat, he had come here to swim in the big lake in the fields. Nord had taken to bathing quite often, especially on these hot summer days. He didn't always come to the lake, usually he stuck closer to Taviora, but he felt like today was a good day for a bit of a trip of sorts. He still hadn't seen all there was to see of Moladion after all, and the longer he was here the more he seemed to find out about this place.

Nord's tail gave a few wags as he trotted through the tall grass, ocean blue eyes glancing around every so often as his lanky body moved through the land. Even though it was so hot, it was still a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky to speak of. He was beginning to be quite happy with life as of late. His confidence had skyrocketed and his stutter had all but disappeared, and things had just been... better. Finally he had a purpose, too, being a healer in Taviora. He still had a lot to learn about healing, but he was getting better day by day. It was a good feeling knowing that he could help others even if it was in a small way. He wouldn't be saving lives quite yet but maybe someday.

The male felt the ground grow loose and sandy beneath his paws, his orbs falling on the welcome sight of the lake. He trotted forward, his banner waving with excitement. Nord figured it would be lovely to feel the cool water on his skin after the hot trip here. It would be well worth it.

Nord waded into the cool water, dipping his head down to lap at the liquid with his pink tongue before moving further into the lake. With a happy sigh he sunk down into the water, letting the waves wash off all the dirt and grime off of his pelt from the trip here. The hot sun felt nice now as it was a contrast to the cool water, but the wolf didn't have any plans of getting out of the water anytime soon. He was perfectly content right here.
