Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

this is her in blackouts

It had been some days since Fen had come to spend the night beneath the stars with Natu. Their conversation had been easy and his companionship was of a comfort she had not had in a long time. The kind that held the tension of unspoken desires, the need to touch and yet the hesitancy in such a newly budding relationship. After he had left to rejoin his brothers in Asteraia or wherever they hung out these days she had been left with a feeling of... loneliness. Emptiness. It was different than the bond she had with Heyel. That demanded they spend time together after a duration apart, this was a feeling that made her anxious for the last few days, her paws constantly tracing the borders of Spirane in her desire to leave yet holding back. Wondering, thinking, devising, until this afternoon. She could hold back no more.

Crossing the border of the mountainside pack was like crossing some invisible boundary. The moment she was past it felt as if breath came swooping into lungs starved and a weight she had not known existed lifted from her shoulders. This felt right. Right in a way that fate couldn't outright tell her but her body knew. Her body drove her to take off from Spirane at a flat out run, legs eating up the ground with ease and lungs laboring with the burn of oxygen rushing in. It was exhilarating.

She realized as she kept running that she had no idea where to find Fen. Because that is exactly what she was going to do. Her body desired his company and her mind knew it: she missed him. They hadn't known each other for but a brief second in this lifetime and yet it had felt correct. It had eased the weight of hidden sorrows and his gallant remarks had made her burn in a lightness she had realized was dimmed before. So she angles her movements towards the new meadow pack, Asteraia. The border has many different scents that branch both in and out of the pack and she hunts for about an hour or so before she catches his scent. In this time she also catches that of Ifrit and the other males, though Ifrit's causes her nose to wrinkle. She sincerely hopes that she doesn't run into him while trying to find Fenrir.

His trail leads out and away and she moves fast in tracking him, pausing a few times to sniff around once more before loping towards the Fields. Natu has had much training as a tracker and can make herself silent though today she does not attempt stealth. She is too eager to get to him, to see him, and his black figure flashes against the pale backdrop of tan colored wheats and multi-hued flowers. She sighs then, happy to have found him, eager to see him and now nervous. Would he want to see her after her gentle decline of his offer. It hadn't been much of a decline really so much as putting that off.

Natu's gait is barely suppressed to a walk as she moves towards him, tail wagging and a bright smile on her alabaster face. She assumes he knows she is there but just in case she barks, a greeting. "Fenrir," she says, coming to stop with only inches separating them, finding a sudden desire to press her nose into his neck but refraining, eyes searching his to see his reaction.
