The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Enyaone.glorall.noheart.nosoul

Time had past so quickly since her parents had vanished. She had no doubts they where together and loved herself and her siblings even so it left her with little to do. Her sister, well she hasn’t seen her around and Levi was out to prove himself. She didn’t understand his motives but it was his life, wherefore not hers to question. Enya however had no plans to prove herself, for what did she have to prove to anyone? She was eager to explore more than the small patch of land she grew on by the sea. She would head west to Spirane. Her mothers dearest friend Natu lived their. She knew the woman as an aunt but has seen little of her since her youth, she understood though. Everyone had a life they needed to live yet perhaps her aunt would like a visit. Either way Enya had decided to give her one.

Enya’s nairs flair slightly as a heavily metallic scent filled them. She knew the scent of blood well someone or something was killed around here and it was fresh. Ears swivel straining to hear even the slightest paw step. She heard nothing but the soft howls of the fall breeze. She smelt a stranger on the wind and the scent of doe. She had hardly realized the beginnings of hunger that gnaw at her insides. She wasn’t above an easy meal and if the hunter left some scraps she could at least make good use of them. Really; who would deny an easy meal?

She fallowed the tracks some of which crisscrossed over each other before reaching a rather obscure entrance. Perhaps it was a risk to go any further, she could always get her own food but now it was curiosity that drew her. From here the path was rather easy to navigate even in the tunnels. She took great care to remember the way she came incase the hunter still lurked… it seems her intuition didn’t betray her. It’s frame was rather illuminated in the cavern face deep in the belly of a doe. She could here growls reverberating in the hunters chest and he was massive. Her body screamed at her to run away with muscles tense and yet her mind was overcome with curiosity and forced her a step closer.
