News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

RAGNAROK
Victim of his Own Creations

Already he felt so light despite the shadows that seemed to still loom in him. He wanted to tell her about it, but when would something like that be the right time? It would take a great deal of finesse to deal with the situation when it would come up but for now he was more than happy to just be as happy as Church was. No need for any little secrets to come up, and while Ragnarok took his job quite seriously and felt he had nothing to be ashamed of for the first time he was a bit worried of what someone thought of him for it. For now he was content in being beside his light, dancing through the mountains together in their soul-bound tango and he was more than happy than to play her games.

It was magical watching as she moved so in tuned with him. It was even more amazing here as the land so uneven and rough yet they still moved so fluidly over the landscape. He always was told how wonderful it was to have an imprint, but he never really thought it would be as it was for his mother and father as it was for him. The silver brute was just so different from both of his parents, his purpose was different he just never thought he had room for a soul especially one so wonderful, and beautiful, as Church. He wanted to say something along those lines, that she was something worth dying for. If the darkness did consume him at the very least he got to see the light before passing into the void.

He watched her icy eyes bright as she sprinted about the area, sometimes darting ahead but soon allowing him to fall back into lead, spurring him faster in those times to once again be closer to her. Ragnarok was perfectly happy to play a game of tag. While fun he was going to show her the benefits of having such a large and able imprint to carry her in a fashion that could be offered by few others. She seemed surprised but thankfully she trusted him and didn’t struggle to much as he slipped underneath he and she then was perched upon his back legs spread out just above his shoulders giving a little bounce to realign her in a better fashion before taking off. She seemed happy, her laugh allotting a wide smile to cross his maw glancing back so happy she was taking it all in stride.

It was different for sure but he was quite happy to be her ‘steed’ as long as she wanted. As her teeth gently gripped his scruff and she cried out the jumbled words he sprang forward moving a little bit faster though he could feel her shifting about on his back. He laughed not really caring what anyone else thought of them as he made his way higher into the mountains. The view was becoming increasingly familiar as he neared the den site but not willing for this to change anytime soon he slowed back down to a trot his tail waving about behind him the slight weight of his imprint upon his back and their forms touching so much was simply relaxing.

He felt her weight shift on him as she leaned forward and his head turned slightly so it would be easier for her to remain so quiet. The sound of her voice caused a pulse of something both warm and cold to surge through his blood, it would have caused his fur to stand should she have not been laying on top of it. He gave a chuckle as his newly earned nickname safe for rock now thinking how true it was. ”Not many I would imagine. Though if I am the moon then you are most certainly the Earrth to which I revolve around.” It was true he guessed, perhaps she knew the lore to where their universe now revolved around her and it certainly felt that way for him. His new nick name was so appropriate even without knowing of her Sun and he had no reason to suspect there was a sun in the equation at the time.

Finally though he tried to slow the pace the white and purple mountain flowers that surrounded the den came into view, the large flat rock sitting over the rather large entrance that was to allow for his father’s large size. ”We are here.” he said and to no surprise to him the den was still abandoned no sign of paws since his own a few seasons ago lingering about the area. His form fell low to the ground laying momentarily so that the golden fem could get off his back before standing tall once more. He moved about the clearing his face becoming temporarily more solemn at the bareness of the area, however his gaze turned to Church and a soft smile touched his maw, tail giving a singular wave.

”My father was larger than me, if you can believe that.” He chortled motioning to the den’s expansive entrance. ”Mother, was a healer she liked her flowers before she changed.” He said before rolling his shoulders in a shrug. He honestly didn’t know what or who she turned into now but she was like a whole different wolf than who she was when he was a child. Not that it mattered she was never around anymore anyway.
