Alibi was not the welcoming creature she had been when Skylar had first met her, but the pale vixen didn't pin her ears nor turn away so she hoped that was a good start. Glancing down to the colt who greeted her, Skylar lowered her head to huff a breath out at him for an exchange of breaths. Her eyes were curious of him, her motherly instincts of course wanting to take care of him, but for now he was not her concern, his mother was. Looking back to Alibi, Skylar ventured closer and attempted to reach her soft nose out to bump her friend's shoulder. Skylar always sought touch first, whether it was instinct or just her nature she would never know.


"I would say I'm sorry but I know that won't make up for what I did." she said quietly, the shame obvious in her voice. "You needed me and I left, that is not what a friend should do. All I can ask is for forgiveness and a chance to prove I won't do it again." Maybe it was asking too much, Skylar wasn't for sure. All she knew was that she wanted her friend back and since Alibi had not cast her away it had left Skylar hopeful.
