Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Return to Lunar Children

THE PATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS MAN;
IP: 108.69.203.48

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Vincent just stood there, so hulking and awkward and unnatural. Sincerity was too strange to the beast, and all the feelings he was having about the female in front of him were even more confusing. The only wolf he had considered a friend was his old partner, and after he had left his old home he had left his only friend too. It was just too hard to have friends sometimes. They expected things from you, challenged you... Vince did enough of that to himself. But there was something about this girl, this Spirit, that made him want to be friends with her. More than friends, even, he wanted to be whatever she wanted him to be.

He grinned as she giggled and seemed to calm a bit more in his presence, and a wave of relief washed over him. For some reason his biggest fear was that she would hate him or tell him to get lost, because Vince didn't know if he could even deal with that. She held part of his soul now and he couldn't just let her turn away. But she wasn't trying to go, so he wouldn't have to worry about that outcome quite yet. "Well, that's good to hear." he said, his tail giving an awkward wag. "And eh, maybe you'd make a nice snack." Vince finished with a wink.

He wondered briefly if she felt the tug of their bond as well, and if that was why she hadn't turned tail yet. Did she feel like he was feeling? That if she were to walk away, he just simply might die? Vincent wanted to ask but he had no idea how to do it. 'Feelings are hard.' the brute thought with a twitch of his ears. 'Jeez.'

Her inquiry causes him to chuckle awkwardly, and before he answers he sits down as well. Even sitting he towers over her, and he finds himself hoping that his size wasn't too intimidating. It worked wonders for battle and well, intimidating things, but right now it felt like more of a hindrance.

"Sure, sure. I'm not too interesting though, doll." Vincent laughed, grinning. "I live in Asteraia, I'm the head of all the warriors and those types. Grand Master is my official title, it's very fancy. I used to do something similar for an alpha in a different land." he paused, wondering what else he should tell her. That he felt like he was going to explode if he didn't touch her? That he was really an okay guy, even though he was technically a murderer? It all just felt so strange. "But I'm more interested in learning about you." Always the charmer.
