Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Perfection is a Disease

The dangers of this world were to hard for her to bear alone. Her heart had almost leapt in it’s chest when his muzzle was so close. She had never felt like that before. She supposed these past weeks have been filled with firsts. Mikhail had assured her with words dripping with honey; He would guide her to safety. Where other’s would swarm to protect her delicious hide, with no greed, no hunger and no spite. She trusted him, so she followed him.

She barely spoke a word to him the whole trip. Her legs exhausted from a moon of travelling, and her stomach empty. She hungered for the succulent grasses which they ambled past, but she dared not stop. She didn't know what danger there may be.

The stench was unbearable, made worse by the heat. The smell of testosterone, mixed with mares in fall heat, and the small tinge of blood an assault on her senses. Mikhail seemed at home in this place, while she nearly choked. She could feel her skin pricking, each hair standing on end, sweat rising on her coat in beads. The further she travelled the more her pelt darkened with the salty substance.

Mikhail waited for her, and she revelled in it. She could not be alone, especially not in a place like this. She increased her pace until she was almost level with him. This is it she thought, shocked. She swung her head quickly to each side, flicking her ears with uncertainty. ”Mikhail, I’m scared, I don’t like it here” she confessed. In that exact moment a rustle emanated from a nearby shrub, spinning on her heels she leapt, curling herself behind Mikhail’s brown and white splashed body. Reaching her head under his neck she saw the culprit. A green warty beast, that Croaked in her face. “What is it?” she whispered as if the creature may hear her.

She had no time to realise just how close their bodies were. She was too scared to notice she leaned towards his body, seeking comfort from this strange place and it’s strange creature’s.
