the girl was understandably defensive at his arrival, but seeming rather especially put out when he noticed she was not entirely whole in her person. her wound distracted his eyes a couple times before all was on it’s way to copasetic. he encourages her to claim sanctuary from asteraia, twice with eagerness as she sat with her poor leg extended.
his pink eyes rove her otherwise, looking for more wounds to better explain the extent and proximity of the danger she had faced and that might be in pursuit of her without having to ask her circumstances in a more prying manner. there is none, though, that he can see obviously as she sat before him with a stammer of reply hanging off her tongue.
“Eh? Um… Sure… yes. Ah claim sanctuary.” she agrees, earning a defined change in his stature and demeanor to look behind and around them, prominently in the direction she had just come. “Ah’m Greer. Who’re you?” she asks, well overdue for his introduction, but him hardly in a rush when he was the sole individual prepared in that moment to do the protecting. there was only meager hesitation, then, “seamus. ‘sort of border guard for the alphas.”
his offering is meager, as far as explanations went, but he looks back to her with ever twitching ears and a curious expression wrapping his visage three times over. “i won’t pry about the leg, but i promise you that now that you claimed sanctuary, the masters of this pack will let nothing harm you if it is in their power to prevent it.” he promises with a tilt of his head and a folding in of his own hindquarters to sit.
“if you need rest, we may for a moment. i do not think your… problems are in a hurry to follow you into pack lands.”
