Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The healer had waited for what seemed like ages before she even saw anyone come toward her. Then, a light colored beauty comes toward her through the dunes, and a smile breaks across her face. One so young surely couldn't be expecting pups, and so the healer comes to think she may have another student on her paws. Sure enough, the young lady does not waste time and so states her wishes for being here. "Ravenna, do you think, or do you know that you wish to be a healer? You must be certain you can do the tasks, it is nothing to take lightly. Medicine comes with knowledge, and it takes a long time to gain everything you need to know about the art. It takes confidence as well, which is sometimes difficult for even me." The white Marius keeps a gentle tone as she speaks, neutrality in her voice as she states the requirements for the job. Ravenna needs to be sure she wants to take the path she is looking at, it is a full commitment to the pack, and a lifelong title to hold.

"Take a moment to think on it, and excuse me, I need to call my other student, especially if we are about to learn anything today." Another smile, it was nice to not need introduction, to be known by others, even if they were the same pack. She tilted her head up and away from the smaller female, her delicate voice slipping out and calling for the male she had taken as apprentice. If she couldn't have her mate by her side, she would surround herself in young ones to teach. Her note called Sciathan, and she would wait with Ravenna while he took his time getting to them. Today she had only hoped to show off the dens she had created for everyone, but it looked like it would be a teaching day after all. Now, as Ravenna made certain she wanted the title of healer, Riopat made a lesson plan on how to heal Maternal wounds. With Spring so close, it is necessary that they have someone else to heal the mothers of Glorall, especially if things didn't go well for herself. With the difference in size between Mortz and herself, Riopat could only imagine what kind of tearing they would be doing when they finally decided to grace her with their presence. Now, all they waited on was Sciathan, and they could begin the lessons, if this is what Ravenna chose.
