This is my Fate.
Haziel had been coming to the white female’s den for days following the birth. Occasionally he would bring around his student Viserys, but today the large brute traveled alone. There was only so many times Haziel could bring him here and show him the same tasks. Checking her temperature to make sure there was no infection, asking how much pain she was in, before giving her the herbs to help treat her for the day. He began to change her over to lighter dosages, and while he was sure it would take the better part of next season he was sure she was out of the worst of it now. She would live, she would see her pups grow to be adults so long as the fiery fem didn’t do anything foolish in the coming months while any inner damage healed. There were still problems with her, ones that could go quickly bad if she were to exert herself too much and ones he was quite adamant on making her not do. Quite the challenge to be honest she had a strong will she did, but it was that same strong will that kept her alive.
It caused them to have a strange relationship, though a relationship all the same. Haziel was growing to know all her children quite well and their various quirks and attitudes, but there was one that was so different from the others, and it wasn’t the silent girl for even though he was blind Haziel could tell that one was just as the others. No, the one he had in mind was the littlest one, the youngest daughter and she was called Semele. She was not like her siblings at all, so gentle and sweet, Haziel wasn’t sure what made her not the spit fire of her mother or the beast that was her father but something very different. He wasn’t going to lie, he might have picked favorites, and while he certainly didn’t mind Everlyse’s children, in fact he liked all of them, Semele was probably the one he felt closest too, he didn’t even mind the little nickname she had given him though he was doing his best to correct her siblings when she did it… well maybe he was a bit soft for the child.
He moved across Asteraia, walking though he had a purpose though not quite in a hurry. Lyse would be fine for a few more hours even days, it was simply that Haziel was a bit cautious after his own teachers experience with the female Natalya that he checked daily and perhaps to keep her a bit of company, civil company that was, surely having that big brute as a mate was her choosing but he didn’t seem like the conservationist and plus Haziel could answer any questions regarding any of their children’s health, though sadly Camilla was out of his reach to fix. His nose twitched while he neared the den a white rabbit pelt in maw carrying the days supplies.
He didn’t need to see her to know she was there, the little girl sitting at the den something strange smelling at her paws though really he was more interested in why the girl was out waiting for him. He approached as gracefully as ever, moving forward on his large black paws that were nearly the size of the child he was getting closer too. He paused beside and looked towards her, ”Your Mother know you are outside?” He asked his tail giving a wave he was friendly about it of course, almost teasing really. He didn’t know she was within site but she certainly wasn’t far from the entrance he was about to duck into either. ”What is it you have there?” He asks curious the smell of a severed flower drifting up to his nose.
