She had finally made up her mind. It had taken some thought, she still worried that maybe this wasn’t a good idea but what could go wrong? There wasn’t really anything bad that could happen out of this save for being turned away and even then, why would they? She still had her home in Taviora it had taken some explaining on her part to her father on why she felt she had to do it and it was more than embarrassing to say it out right as he looked at her with those big soft, all knowing Dad eyes that kept saying ‘and’ as she kept going through the list of reasons why she had to move to Asteraia. She told him everything, she liked the fields, she liked seeing the stars so clearly, she liked running unburdened by trees but the root of it all was she liked a boy there. Yeah that was it, it wasn’t really the lands or stars, though both were nice it was their Prince that resided in those lands. It seemed Coza only contented himself in hearing that answer to which she was embraced and blessed to go on her journey. She was surprised, she figured her father would tell her to think about it but as of this spring she was an adult and surely that might have played a factor too.
She was nervous though for the life of her she couldn’t figure out why. She had met the Alphess during the hunt and while they didn’t quite have a successful hunt it was fun she guessed and a good learning experience for all of them. She didn’t think she had any reason to fear the Queen of Asteraia denying her, she would earn her keep here to be certain just as she had in Taviora. Though she was a Princess she was never treated as highly as perhaps a Princess should. She was raised to serve her pack, not lord over them while she had no set skills of her own. She knew healing and was a pretty good hunter she thought and she was quite the little fighter as well. She would fit into a lot of positions in the ranks and was willing to do whatever she had to prove she was more than just some little Princess. She wasn’t really, she was just Zeltzin, if any of her siblings deserved the royal title it was Amoxtli, surprising enough, but Zelly probably would have taken up on it if she wouldn’t have found her Prince Lu.
The auburn girl soon found herself at the borders she wasn’t sure if she should call the Queen or if she should wait. Lucero was surely somewhere here at home and while she wanted to see him as soon as she met with his Mother. Feeling it was best to make sure it was known she wanted the Queen’s company this time rather than her son. Tilting her head back she called for Rhae, though she still wouldn’t be opposed if Lucero came as well, really she just needed his mother for now.
