I had no intentions of leaving so suddenly, picking up so suddenly and leaving everything where it was without telling one. Yet the tundra had called me back and I had to answer it. One of my sister's had tracked me down and requested my help back home. Apparently the sisterhood had fallen on hard times since the death of our mother, or should I say rightful murder. Maybe I should have told her to go back and solve their problems on their own, after all, I had denounced the mother and them, vowing to never return. Yet, even after all this time, I still felt obligated to help them, maybe set them on the right track.
So I left, without saying anything to Eric or Natu about my short away. I knew they would be fine though, that they would be preoccupied with their own matters: Eric was a soon to be father and Natu expecting a family as well. By the time I returned from the trip, I knew that the pups would be born, something to keep me counting the days till I was back. I would probably never have pups of my own, but that doesn't mean I won't help raise these little ones like they were. Seline may not be pleased with my involvement with her children, but as Eric is their father and my soul, she's simply going to have to deal.
Thankfully my business there did not last as long as I had previously thought it might. I would be back not long into spring. Natu's pups may be born by then, but Eric's I was not so sure. I good pace, and soon I was back within the borders of Moladion, wasting no time in heading straight for the mountain that was home. But I would not find Natu and her pups there on this day, for they were somewhere completely different. Somewhere not quite as close to the sky above: Asteraia. I wasn't sure why she was out on the rolling plains, but now was not the time for questions, it was the time for celebration. So I descended from the mountain and headed to the rolling plains where I could find my sister and her youngsters.
I had waited patiently at the border of Asteraia until given the consent to enter by a member. They led the way to her den, as this land was completely unfamiliar to me and it would be many hours before I would be able to find the den on my own. But soon I was there, and the wolf had left for our reunion. A smile widened across my face and my banner waved as I sauntered up to the opening. I could smell natu inside, along with puppies. It would be rude to simply barge on in, so instead I simply rang the doorbell with a playful yip. "What a lovely place Natu has found for herself and her family," I say, allowing my voice to travel into the darkness of the den and try to draw her out.
