Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I come back to the borders of Glorall, this time determined on a new path. I still want to meet with Tesseract and officially rejoin Glorall instead of sulking on the borders but there's something I have to do first. Something I'm looking forward to a lot less than the talk with Tesseract. I need to see my sister.

I know that Viora probably still hates me for what happened. She probably still blames me and for all I know, she'll probably try to eat my face off rather than look at me. But still I come to see her, to make her talk to me if I have to. I'm fresh from another day of training with Aithne, who has been showing me how to defend myself against attack. I know I'm nowhere near perfect but I'm confident enough to try my luck with Viora again because dammit, she's all I've got left.

Mother is gone, dead. She's not coming back. Father is dead. Our brother is either gone for good or dead too. That just leaves me and Viora. She has to talk to me. She just has to. And more than that, she has to forgive me. I don't know what to do if she doesn't. My eyes narrow in determination as I pace the borders, my tail flicking behind me, betraying my restlessness. Finally I can't take it anymore. I throw my head up, calling for her. She can choose to ignore me but I'll just keep calling until she comes.

"Viora!"
