Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She had been nursing the boy Grayson back to health recently having gained some knowledge from Riopat before. Still, the woman had been rather busy as of late taking care of herself and her new litter. Ravenna chose to refrain from visiting. It wasn't like she knew the healer all too well and she wasn't overfond of pups anyways. Maybe that was a remnant of her father inside of her but whatever. Her father and mother had traipsed off somewhere, probably thinking their children were plenty old enough to take care of themselves, and it left Ravenna with much time to ponder and hunt for herbs to stockpile.

Still as she trots along a clear freshwater stream, dodging in occasionally to snap at some fat fish that swam close by, a cry breaks through the trees. Birds twitted and sing, trying to drown out the howl from Riopat, but her ears twitch and she lifts her head to scent the wind. There is much prey out today. Hunting would have to wait though as she turns away from the stream and shakes her paws off before lunging into a dead run across the landscape of Glorall. Over gentle hills and leaping across streams, over logs, and under trees until she breaks into the area where Riopat waits.

Ravenna pants as she slows abruptly and trots up to the healer with a grin that comes from adrenaline and the rush of energy through her body. Soon Sciathan would come, she knew, so she plants her haunches on the ground while letting her lungs burn in an attempt to catch enough air. "You.... called?" Ravenna huffs, eyes like slits against her fur as she tries to fight off a sense of sweeping tiredness brought on from her body relaxing after such a run.
