Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Question Everything You Ever Known.

She was so enthralled with everything going on. She stared at the brute wide eyed her similar shaded eyes unable to break way from his own as he smiled at her seemingly pleased with her inquisitive mind rather than frustrated with it like her sister seemed to be. She was curious, for what else could be in the world if here before them stands another they had never met. She had always been with just her family, had never been taken far from the den and here stood someone like her parents older and perhaps not larger but still a wolf none the less. She drank up his replies, listening as he said there was another pack full of wolves, so his family? Mother and Father hinted they lived in a ‘Pack’ and they weren’t the only ones before now but there were more than just their pack.

She wanted to question the wolf more when a ruckuss came floating down the mountain towards them in the form of three smaller ‘others’ like her and Bastille! She looked at them now almost over whelmed with how many of them there were. How many others existed in this world? As many as she come across today she was wondering if they would continue to pop up like spring flowers! She could only imagine what a vast world of others she might come across and what they were like. They all introduced themselves and Bast, in Bastille fashion introduced the both of them. Her face showed probably the most emotion than it ver had before in these moments listening as another boy, seemingly as curious as her came up to ask questions too! Oh was he like her? Were others just various forms of certain personalities? She had to know and now she was silent in her observations having enough to study for the whole day and more if she wanted! A wealth of knowledge was pouring into her lap spurred on by another Large other and only making her excitement grow as she found out they would be going to another place.

Tail waving the grey and russet girl followed their adult leaders, a trail of them following behind but she was at the tail end of them all, studying each and every one of them and their reactions to one another trying to get a good feel of who they were as they bounded along to this place by the sea called Glorall. The lands themselves were vast and wide and Embla knows she is blind that there is still much to learn and no before they even made it to the seaside pack of Glorall. Amazing, how fast one’s world would grow in such a short amount of time! There was so much she still had yet to learn and while she returned to her rather observant self they were soon placed in an area that smelled most strange.

Her nose crinkled at the scent, not sure how she liked it, it felt like it stuck to her nose and over powered everything around her. The bright blue eyes moved around taking in the strange soft dirt but not dirt on her paws all the way to the strange flatness of the lands. Everything was so… different. How was she supposed to cope. All she wanted to do was sit and think now, watching her sister carefully as well as the rambunctious boys that could give even her wild sister trouble. Things were almost too quickly expanding it was a lot to take in even more so as she climbs up the dune only to see endless water before her.

She had never seen anything like it, a pond perhaps but such expanses of water were far beyond her imagination. What else was out of her little den. She was quickly starting to feel the world had much more than she bargained for, but it didn’t scare her, it excited her. All the opportunities to be had in the world and she was going to know what all there was out there and find out just how much more there might be.

She could only stare before finally sitting and just thinking adopt the dune still shadowing the group as best she could wondering that maybe her previous estimate of others might have been… off, her gaze went to the three boys and her sister than the two adults wondering just where all these others come from too. In time she would ask for now she could only stare in awe of the world that just suddenly expanded before her.
