Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He belonged in the pack that his brother was a part of, and that was all there really was to it. Solitaire wasn't going to lose what family he had left again, no. He would do what he must to show that he could belong here. He remembers Glorall and how he'd been born here, those youthful, simple days when things were good and less complicated. Before he had been snatched up by the vagabonds and taken far away. It still bothers him. A lot still bothered him.

Yet he was still here, ready to put all that behind him and start new. This was what he wanted and where he wanted to be. And he was glad that Tesseract was gone. He couldn't help that feeling, because he hadn't been accepted into the pack when he had finally returned as a yearling. He'd been looked over, ignored. He wondered if it had hurt his mother and sister to watch him slink away again.. That wasn't what he would allow this time.

Solitaire would get in this pack one way or another, and there shouldn't be any reason as to why not. All he wanted was to be around Tristan again and live his life. Stop wandering out there alone and be a part of something. Just because he had trust issues did not mean Solitaire was any less a pack animal with social needs. He was, and deep down he craved just being around others. He wanted to be a part of something.

Glorall fit all of those needs for him. A pack, a home that hehad once known, and his brother there for when he needed family to talk to. The choice to try and become a part of the pack was made quickly enough, and so Solitaire arrived, keeping his body language friendly -- no bad intent here -- as he made his way near Tristan to settle down on his belly and wait to be noticed. That was the way it was done, right? Solitaire had been gone so long all he remembered was to keep his body low at first meeting.
