Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Fight your foes you’re on your own;
Holy war is on the phone;
The bleeding loss of blood runs cold.

Torture was probably actually a mild word for it. He had better herbs back in Sprine, herbs that didn’t stink or sting when placed on the wounds. Most of the time he wondered if she even knew what she was doing. Probably not. He was probably some sort of sick test dummy for her and he was probably also lucky, or unlucky, that he didn’t die in the process due to some form of poisoning or another. Something that would kill him, either way. His new life wasn’t easy, but there was something rewarding about restarting this way and continuing on with his life and unburdening those of the past. He had no idea what heart ache he brought upon those that missed him, but really he knew their lives were far better without, though at times he wondered how Natu was doing, how many pups she had and what she named them.

When this train of thinking met his mind he would always shake his head, try to rid himself of his past and memories. He wanted to move on, leave them be, well little did his know his ‘savior’ was Natu’s niece and perhaps the past would forever haunt him. She was so annoying. He was at peace right now, she had her lessons and they were little periods of time when he could escape and find some time where it was quiet. Thankfully he was getting better at hiding from her or at least eluding her now that he was healthier and feeling better. One thing he would never be used to though was this barrage of strange creatures she was insisting on trying to feed him. Fish, fine normal even, but these weird huge bugs and random tough things? They were… pretty disgusting.

Speak of the devil two things that were rather horrible were approaching and in combination as well. She was skipping across the sand her brightly colored form bouncing around until coming right up to him dropping those gross… things at his paws looking over at her hoping this wasn’t the first kind deed she was doing for him because she was happy or something. She starts telling him he can’t go out to the island. Can’t. More like she won’t let him. He was strong enough she just didn’t want to think he was, sharks? Right those were swimming giant fish; he hadn’t seen those before or heard of them. For all he knew they were figments of stories.

”Whatever.” He says with a huff. Looking down at her offering of mollusks his fast instantly twisting in a look of disgust. ”No. You force fed me enough of those discusting things to last a life time. Have you ever eaten a real meal before? I mean that isn’t fish, those wallowing gross things on the beach or those things? Come on. My turn to show you what a REAL meal is.” He kicks her mollusks into the water, he was going to show her just how healthy he was, that he could swim to that island if he wanted too, do whatever he wanted, he didn’t need her help and he would prove it.

Turning on his paws putting his back to his island paradise he started marching for the far border of the lands. ”If you’re hungry you probably should follow me, you know? He said grumpily his tail giving a flick. If she was coming to ruin his day, he was going to ruin hers.
