Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The homefront. Not really, but it was as close as it was going to get, he supposed. This was where he had last seen mother and his siblings at, and that made it what it was within his mind. He was curious to see how things had worked out for them, and if they still lived within Glorall. Or if there was any news of where they might have gone if they did not still reside here. It was a chance to take, and of course there was nothing but time and the idea to take said chance. Why shouldn't he? What else was he to do in all the time he had left but hunt and maim and kill? So, to see what was left of his family was on his list.

To the sandy beaches of Glorall he went, thinking of the colder bath he'd taken to wash off the residule blood from his body. Chilly, but Covet felt cold a little differently, and just maybe it did not affect him in quite the same way. However, with that came the fact that if he wasn't careful he could get sick faster. Or so went the theory, but Covet never allowed it to be tested. After the bath he holed up for awhile to dry without the wind-chill, and then away he had gone, and here he was now. Just in sight of the Glorall borders (his nose told him it wasn't the asshat from before, which was good, but it said other things he couldn't pick out).

Once a few feet from it, he checked the smells near it, trying to find out if the family he hadn't seen in years might still be there. He thought he caught a whiff of something familiar, and with that in mind, he called out for his siblings, their mother. Hopefully those that were still there would come to his call, and hopefully at least one was. And if not, maybe someone who had known them and where they had gone. Covet was silent after he had made the call for them, and he waited, wondering how they would take to him being back, or being anything at all. It had been a rather long time, and no goodbyes, either..
