Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I slip slowly into this new territory, the voice inside my head the only company I have had on my long journey here. I hope I can remain unnoticed for long enough that I can be sure that my little...companion...doesn't make herself known to anyone else just yet. It does seem to scare other wolves away when they know that I am not alone in my head. I stop, head shaking in irritation as SHE starts up her blathering again.

Of course you aren't alone you twit! I am here and I am in control! Just sometimes the gods see it fit to give you control of our body. Mores the mistake for them! You are completely unable to have any rational thoughts and always end up getting us into trouble!

I finally succeed in shaking her out of my head for the moment, hopefully she'll be gone for long enough that I can find us a decent home. I know that I'm not the smartest wolf but certainly not the dumbest either. And I have gotten us into trouble, but it was so much fun to hear her screech inside my head while we were running for our life.

Turning my head I listen, hoping to pinpoint the direction the sounds I hear are coming from. Lifting my nose to the wind, I find the scent of other wolves and start out in that direction making sure to cling to the shadows so that I can see without being seen, the only thing visible of me the white crescent moon on my chest and the faint blue of my eyes.

A strangely lithe creature wandered into view and I tip my nose in that direction, scenting the wind to try and figure out who or what it was. The size said male, but the scent...the scent told me something else. I tilt my head to the side in confusion, wondering which was lying to me, my nose or my eyes. The voice in my head decided to chime in with her two cents at about this time, leaving me staring at the newcomer that gave my senses such mixed information.

Well THAT is definitely interesting. Why don't you go and talk to them? I can tell you what to say so we don't sound completely idiotic. We need allies here you twit, don't do anything to upset them, just let me take over and do the talking.

I growled softly, shaking my head to rid it of that nagging voice. I didn't want to approach this...person...yet, not knowing when my little friend would make her appearance again. So instead I merely watch them from the shadows, crouching low to make myself less noticeable.

Voice in her head is in italics.

(OOC : Sorry for the crappy post, still getting used to her character.)
