The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He can see the clocks ticking in Dexter's mind, how he does not exactly know how to response to the white ghost of Moladion as he stares him in the eyes. There were many dead here, but Anselm knew one of the deaths was not caused by Dexter. It hardly mattered really, Anselm did not particularly care. the words he spoke were true. Weakness always ends of dead- and everyone ends up weak at some point in their lives. He does not know that his words cause confusion in Dexter's mind, and his orange slashed violet eyes simply continue to stare like orbs of light beaming straight into the soul. He stands over the body with the missing heart, blood seeping onto a single white paw as Dexter finally speaks. His white ears press forward, before flickering back to listen behind him, know the situation is a...curious one, that may lead to many unwanted eyes.

He never cared if there was evidence or not, although Anselm wasn't even 100% sure he knew the meaning of the word. His eyes break away from the eyes of Dexter and down to the body that was just freshly killed. The night is touched by the moon, and the haunting sound of distant howls ring in the sky like sirens. It was of no concern to the white ghost, his large form taking steps over the body towards the body of Seir. He looked him over. The Grotto was not exactly a place to bury a body, but perhaps the outskirts would be. Anselm would assist Dexter, although his stance we certainly domineering over the younger boy. His tail was high and shoulders pressed forward, he was always a much more intimidating looking wolf than Heyel.

"You, follow. Trees in the night, their leaves cover, must go," he said with his accent incredibly thick. He awaits for a response from Dexter before his goes to the front and most bloodied end of the body. He would help Dexter because he felt it may please...her in some way, a strange drive he had that he still could not explain nor do anything about. His jaws snap around the back of the head and along the spine of Seir, but his eyes command Dexter to grasp along the back end somewhere. He was not going to drag the body alone, nor was dragging what they wanted. In order for the scent to at least be less noticeable, no drag could occur- although there would be the inevitable blood drops. He awaits Dexter's actions, remembering their time in the past where he obeyed his commands. He would not be patient with him, and with each passing second his teeth would seem to grow more obvious despite being planted into the body- a warning to him to not test Anselm. Anselm had experience behind him, and a few more years, and there was no fear of Dexter even if he just witnessed his kill.
