Danny could tell his student was more than a little nervous when it came to meeting Khasekhemwy, despite his reassurances, and decided that trying to comfort her any further would probably result in the opposite of his desired effect. After all, hadn't he been terribly nervous when he'd finally managed to get together the courage to visit the Pantheon in hopes of learning something from the gods there? Khase wasn't a terrifying ogre - terrifying and Khase didn't really go together at all, in Danny's mind at least - and would no doubt be... well, he wouldn't exactly be enthusiastic, but he'd probably be intrigued at least by the symbols in the Wadi. Not to mention the fact that Rhea's familiar was probably far more palatable to the eccentric god than lumbering Solarius was. Sol ambled along behind the two fairies, occasionally galloping off to sniff or poke at something that snagged his interest before hurrying to catch back up. He accepted the weight of his linsang pal without comment, wiggling his shoulders just a tad to help Dalai find the perfect spot for the both of them. Once he was certain the little creature was secure, he nudged Danny's hand with a cold wet nose and flicked his tail.

"Almost there!" Sol said helpfully to the group. Danny gave Rhea what he hoped was a bolstering smile, nodding in agreement to Sol's announcement. "I hope he has a snack."

"You just ate, you big oaf," Danny answered, rolling his eyes, though his tone had no actual bite, before turning to Rhea. "Remember, Rhea, you should always call Khasekhemwy either sir or sayedy. He's really nice, though, so you shouldn't worry too much other than that."

Khase's door came into sight. Danny considered stopping to let his student get her bearings, but thought maybe it would be better to keep her going rather than giving her the opportunity to dwell any more on her nerves. He strode confidently towards the door, hoping that his own obvious familiarity would help soothe Rhea, and gave it a friendly knock.

"Here we go!" he said cheerfully.
