Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

GuardianAzrael x Andromeda

It is a good game that they play, Achilles colliding with his shoulder, white and red fur upon black and russet in turn as the boys are given to engage within this tussle and tangle of paws and teeth that is to young for two so grown, surely and yet there is affection between the pair, a respect and mutual pleasure to be found within the company of each to the other as a whitened paw bats against the handsome features of Guardian and the long limbed male lunges easily away on effortless paws only to have Achilles pursue him with a sudden charge that see guardian near knocked down within the exuberance of such an action. Such is the nature of the boy however that he offers little more than a laugh, a rich and deep-throated sound before those long, red-stocking limbs move to carry him effortlessly towards the border itself, form shifting to allow his Prince and Cousin to find place beside him before the call for Eden is given and the black male stands patiently to await the white and grey touched male whom had been born to Diveen so many years ago. Had he been aware of the thoughts of Achilles in those moments, perhaps he too, would have added to them, for even he is well aware of the friendship that existed between the Glorall King and the Taviora Advisor and yet truly the son of Azrael and Andromeda had never offered it much thought. Eden was quiet, he had minded himself as Solaris had done and perhaps they were an odd pair, different to the others Guardian had grown with, yet he had never truly been given to mind. He was a curious creature at times and yet the business of others is not his own and as such he offers little thought beyond the knowledge that he too believes Solaris to be unusual and Eden quiet. Perhaps it is why the remain such friends in the same manner he remains close to Achilles. Such things are not his concern and as such he leaves them be, offering little more then the offhanded comment Achilles is given to agree with, the words bringing a small grin to his handsome dark features before the approach of another sees those eyes of brilliant blue and gold focus upon their old pack mate.

The words of Eden see Guardian’s head turn towards the Alpha as he comes, a momentary wave of his tail offered by way of greeting, ears pricked forward to capture the offered sentence, the words dry and humourless though Guardian offers a grin all the same. Eden had never been playful, had never shared in the games of Achilles and himself and as such Guardian is content to….dampen his own often more optimistic nature to better appease the Alpha male they have come to see, red paws resting politely upon the border as he simply nods in response.

“Now ain’t that amibitious, reckon ya worked ‘ard for it den.”

His words are entirely honest, good natured, offered without malice or sarcasm as if he simply agrees, a frown of sorts given to shift upon his features as Eden turns from him to focus almost solely upon Achilles. It is a mistake often made between the companions and as such guardian holds little offense for such things, others…..unaware as to the manner by which the cousins are given to interact. Unless spoken to, unless required to- Achilles will not speak, the white male more often then not content to merely watch over proceedings unless otherwise needed, both males having long ago become content in this though others had often proven to be taken by surprise, perhaps believing the Prince to be the one so filled with words though indeed there is merit, truly, in one who speaks and one who listens. It is…a unique partnership to be sure and yet one that has more…..cunning then most would believe as the ever pleasant Guardian merely shifts his weight upon his paws, the towering, tall male drawing attention back to himself in this manner, waiting for the return of Eden’s gaze upon the blue gold of his own before allowing that lazy drawl to part his lips once more.

“Queen ‘Sola be askin us to come by this way. Glorall is bein’ neighbour to our pack, yar the closest of all of dem and ‘Sola is reckoning we should be friends, she’d be likin’ to ‘ave alliance with ya if you is wantin’. With us livin’ so close and all ta each other she is thinkin’ it is better to be friends and she sent us to ask ya about it, Eden.”

If Achilles chose to add anything he would, if not then so be it, Guard unbothered by his companions preference to listen and watch, rather then speak, even if his own words were perhaps a little less then perfect.

“ ‘as Solar ben ta see ya yet, Eden? We thought maybe he’d be leavin’ Taviora to come as stay with ya ‘ere. Ya used ta be such good friends an all, eh?”

It is simple conversation, friendly and pleasant, for such is the manner of Guardian. He has no reason to dislike Eden and until given a reason to do so he is content to treat the other as a friend. If he wanted to establish a friendship between there packs he would state it so and if not Guard would simply return to Diveen with such news, where surely Isola herself would come if need be. There was sense in such an alliance after all, the packs given to border each other so closely and Guard so no need for anything other then pleasantness between them. Diveen had raised Eden after al, what reason would he have to turn from them now?
