Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I can tell I've got his interest when I tell him I know where Enigma is buried. He looks grateful for the information, telling me he would like to see it. I smile softly. "Let me know when you're ready and I'll lead you there." I tell him. As he breathes in and out, I know the next question is going to be tough but he asks anyway. I scowl and shake my head. "I don't know her name. I just know that she was black and silver and she had the most scarred up face I've ever seen....I'd know her for sure if I ever saw her again." I duck my head a little. "Though I don't think I ever want to see her again." Maybe it sounds cowardly but I don't think I could take her on alone. Mom couldn't. Maybe with Solitaire by my side...I'd fight to keep him alive. I'd fight like I couldn't fight for her.

He sighs when I mention Viora and that pretty much tells me it's all but hopeless, getting through to Viora. I don't want to give up on her. She's my sister, I can't. But I understand what he's saying too, that she has to want help. I nod and look down, my shoulders slouched in defeat. "I guess you're right. I just wise things could be like they were when we were younger." I smile but the smile is bitter sweet. "Guess that's never going to happen. But at least you're back." My smile is more genuine now, more happy. "I don't know if I ever told you, Soli, but I'm really glad you came back for us. You give me something to hope for."
